Sultan's wife had been dead for over six years. Yeah he has a right to move on, even if it's soon after the anniversary. So what happens when a widow or widower gets remarried and remembers the spouse's death anniversary? What if they start falling for someone a few months or weeks before the anniversary? Should those feelings/relationships then be put on hold till ___ amount of time after the death anniversary?
And Sultan was told by Madhu she's not married to RK. Even after she goes back to RK, when Sultan came to his realization Madhu had told him that she's only back with RK to teach him a lesson and break his heart. So he's supposed to consider her married?
And also, wasn't she accused of giving feelers to Sultan? She was accused of acting unbecoming of a married woman (something I disagree with, anyway). So if Sultan has been told by Madhu that she's not married to RK, then she hints to Sultan there's another reason for her being with RK, and then tells Sultan outright what her plan is, AND according to many till recently Madhu was giving Sultan signals and feelers--if Sultan under all those circumstances falls for Madhu, he is guilty of falling for a "married woman"?
The question is more, if Deepali should move on and is wrong for pursuing RK, then why wasn't RK wrong in his relentless pursuit and harassment of Madhu? The only thing that makes Deepali's behavior less acceptable is that she is married to someone else.
Sultan's wife is dead. And Madhu should not have been harassed and bothered by RK again and again, claiming her as his property.
