The Meeting

Chapter 2

Water trickled down her face, her body clearing the remains of the nightmare and calming her nerves.

But her mind was in a deep thought, she was staring at the face mirror in front of her blankly.

Thinking about her past which has nailed several unforgettable wounds on her soul, which though are now healed yet caused every now and then an immense pain in her heart.

The nightmares like last night were not just some mere random bad dreams

They were reality ... of her life...

Parts of her not so welcomed past

Though she is now independent, fearless, self made, intelligent & STRONG

An impeccable lawyer, with a witty tongue to make even lawyers twice her age& experience tongue tied

Yet vulnerability still lingered somewhere deep down

Her loneliness troubled her

Her past still haunted her

She had no idea how long she had been standing under the shower until her room cordless rang'

She emerged out of bathroom clad in her robe

And picked the call when the call was just about to be dropped unanswered''.

Before she could speak, the voice from the other side boomed

What the hell madhu!!!!!! I have been ringing u from past 1 hour, where were u????

You know how concerned I was???

FIRST u take cases against those filthy murderers, rapist & gangsters !!!!

Then u insist on living ALONE all by yourself!!!!

Then u don't answer my more 30 missed calls . Do you have any idea how worried I was???

If u hadn't answered my this call I swear I would have either gate crashed your house or even better'would have dialed 100 & sent a commando team for ur not-so-required rescue!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ace Corporate and Securities Lawyer of his time, now retired he stays away from practice,

Provides legal advice on voluntary basis in some special cases only.

Mr. Nitin Rathore-31, son of adhiraj rathode, is a full-time civil rights attorney & works for nonprofit public interest.

Ms. Madhubala Malik- 28, one of the best criminal advocates in the country, with a cent percent track record. She is the backbone of Rathore& Malik law firm, with Sr. Rathore retired & Jr. Rathode busy in social work she supervises the firm operations single handedly.

A black Corolla Altis zoomed inside the parking lot of Rathore& Malik law firm

and Madhubala moved out of the car elegantly locking the doors. Wearing

a light yellow color salwar kameez, her curly hair restricted by a clutcher

behind, a silver bracelet and watch adorning her respective wrists. Her

blackberry and car keys in right hand while couple of files were held

securely in the left hand.

In Malabar hill firing case medical reports and witness cross examination at high court is to take place at 3:00PM
