Madhu just pats trishna's shoulder hinting to stop pestering rk...but, to madhu's and trishna's surprise...rk says "thank u" and bends...while trishna stops him midway...they smile..

after a minute...

Rk : lets go madhu..

And saying this rk opens the door and he almost runs to the car...

Chapter 18 - GRIHA PRAVESH

At Chawl

Pamini (suspiciously): what happened to him?

Madhu and trishna stare at each other for a second and madhu turns to face padmini saying, "maa i'll see you u later" and she hurried out and down the stairs and sat in the car where Rk was already sitting...

At Rk mansion

Radhaji was lying on the bed...she looked weak...

Doctor: you need 2 days of rest (looking at radhaji...radhaji gives a slight nod)

Bittuji : come doctor i'll accompany you outside ...auntiji i'm coming in a bit(at radhaji)

Bittuji : what's the matter doctor? (while walking out with the doctor)

Doctor: she is taking too much stress and her B.P. has risen considerably...its necessary for her to take medicines on time..

Bittuji : thank u doctor..

(Doctor exits)

In the car

Rk : lets go rajesh

Madhu : rk why did you walk out like that?

Before Rk could say anything his phone rang...

Bittuji : cheif by when will u and bhabhiji be here? umm auntiji...

Rk : maa! Bittuji what happened to mom?

Bittuji : not to worry chief...i have had a word with the doctor and he said there's nothing to get tensed about...she has been adviced 2 days of rest...

Rk : bittuji make arrangements for griha pravesh...

Bittuji : chief ?

Rk : bittuji do what you are told! and take care of maa...we are reaching...

And the car stops

Rajesh : chief ...

Rk(looking at madhu) : mom is not well...i dont want that anything should happen at home...come...

And madhu glanced out only to notice that the car had stopped outside the hospital...rk held madhu's hand and they walked in straight to a doctor's cabin...

Doctor's cabin

Doctor : hello Mr. Kundra (after pausing a little).. hello Mrs. Kundra...pls sit

Madhu was getting worried now...

Madhu : doctor this wound (pointing at Rk's right shoulder) and in the morning wass feeling dizzy also...and facing difficulty in breathing also...and food also...(rk cuts her)

Rk : relax ! relax! Relax madhu!

Doctor : mr. Kundra you come with me...i will need a blood sample...u will get your reports by evening...

At Rk mansion

Bittuji : auntiji chief has ordered to make arrangements for griha pravesh...bhabhiji...

Radhaji : what? (with a wide smile on her face and almost got up from her bed with a jerk)

While sikki and deepali who were sitting besides radhaji just stared at bittuji in amazement...

Radhaji : come bittuji i have to do a lot of preparations...

Doctor's cabin

Rk got up from his chair while the doctor walked to the bed at the other side of the cabin. Rk followed...madhu was silently watching while sitting on her chair,her hands joined she panicked when her eyes met Rk's...

Rk was unbuttioning his shirt while staring at madhu...and he turned sideways to show his wound to the doctor thus, breaking eye contact...

The doctor cleaned the wound and was attending the wound while Rk turned his head sideways and was staring at madhu while madhu was looking back at him...after the wound was attended the doctor signalled rk that he needed to take blood sample from his left arm...the doctor did his job while Rk and madhu were still staring into each others' eyes...

At Rk mansion

Radhaji had forgotten all her worry and stress...she was just happy and relieved busy with grah pravesh preperations when, the door bell rang...patil opened the door...

The entrance was decorated with flowers and between all this stood Rishab and madhu holding hands...

Radhaji walked till the door with a kalash filled with rice and she placed it on the floor right where madhu was standing...

Radhaji : madhu right foot first...

Madhu smiling at Rk and then at radhaji...she slowly lifted her right foot and gently kicked the kalash to spill the rice...

While sikki and deepali were just quietly witnessing the scene...

Bittuji was happily standing there too...

Neha passed a tray filled with kumkum to radhaji...madhu dipped her hands in the tray and walked till the wall outside to put her hand prints on the wall...

as soon as she pasted her hands on the wall rk had surrounded her from behind and he pasted his hands on either side of madhu's hands...smirking he said, "see how your hands are stuck between mine!"

Madhu replied , " very funny! Rk this ritual is only performed by ghar ki laxmi" (ghar ki laxmi = DIL, is considered to bring health n wealth to her new house)

Rk : so i am only tying my wealth between my hands biwi!

Madhu was left blushing

And Rk and madhu locked eyes as madhu turned to walk inside Rk masion...

Radha : chalo tum dono...

Madhu and rk bent down to take radha's blessings...radha placed her hands on both their heads saying, "hamesha khush raho" and madhu and rk hugged radhaji...radhaji was in tears...finally relieved to see rk and madhu back home safely...and as soon as the hug broke radha looked at madhu (completely ignoring rk) and said, "tum dono fresh ho jao main khana lagwaati hoon"

At the dinning table

Radhaji, sikki and deepali had gathered around the table for lunch when rk and madhu entered...

Everyone seated themselves...radhaji passed a bowl of vegetable to madhu "yeh lo madhu"

Rk : kya banaa hai maa?

Rahdhaji didn't answer...while madhu filled a ladle from the bowl to serve Rk but, rk stopped her motioning his hand... "maa aap baat nahi kar sakti?"

Radhaji didn't respond...

Rk :"maa main aapse baat kar raha hoon"

Radhaji "madhu isse keh main baat nahi karna chahti"

Rk: hadd hai! Ab bahu aa gayi toh aapko bete se baat nahi karni...main chala jaaoon phirse?

(he got up from his chair and was about to leave...when radhaji caught his hand and said..)

Radhaji : pehle toh ghar chodkar chale jaao aur phir aakar...(rk cut him in between)

Rk : sorry maa (facing radhaji with concern)...(turning towards madhu) dekha biwi yeh blackmail hamesha kaam karta hai (winks)

Radhaji (looking at madhu) : dekha yeh hamesha aise karta hai...

And all three were smiling..

Deepali (silently to herself) : lo shuru ho gaya inka...aisa chalta raha toh main bore ho jaaoongi!

Sikki : wife agar rk ne sunn liya toh bore hone ke liye toh ghar mein jagah nahi milegi...waise wife hum chale honeymoon pe ?

Rk : haan sikki pehli baar accha idea diya hai ...maa ko bohot khushi huyi...hai naa maa ?

Radhaji and madhu stared at Rk in unision

Radhaji (looking at madhu) : main padminiji ko phone kar deti hoon...

Madhu : maa hum subah ghar jaa kar aaye..

Rk (looking towards madhu) : main sone jaa raha hoon..

And rk walked out of the dinning area

Madhu : maa main...

Radhaji (to madhu) : jaao madhu..

In the bedroom

(Few hours later..same day..late evening)

There was a knock at the door...Rk woke up...rk noticed madhu sleeping beside him...there was a knock again...rk slowly tried to move his hand out from below madhu's cheek but, madhu woke up too...she got up just in time and there came bittuji with some papers in his hand..

Rk : kya hai bittuji ?

Bittuji : chief aapki blood report

Rk : chaliye main aa raha hoon...(he got up and walked out towards the wardrobe area)

Bittuji : chief yahaan likha hai 'anemia caused due to traces of lead'

Madhu(shocked) : lead poisioning (madhu had heard their talk)

Bittuji (on phone) : ji doctor

Madhu : bittuji kya hua?

Rk : relax madhu...kuch nahi hua

Bittuji : bhabhiji doctor ne kaha hai ki tension ki koi baat nahi hai lekin,wo unhone..umm chief ko kya khana hai kya nahi wo diet likh-ke di hai...aur kuch dawayiyaan bhi hai...

Rk : kaha tha naa madhu..kuch nahi hai...bas jab dekho aansu shuru...

Madhu : chup karo rk...(and then looking at bittuji) dikhayiye kya likha hai...

Rk : jaayiye bittuji...thank u..

(bittuji exits)

Madhu : rk tum baitho main tumhaare liye soup lekar aati hoon...

Madhu is about to walk out when rk pulls madhu holding her hand and locks her in his arms holding her by her waist 😳

Rishbala eyelock

Rk : madhu tum bhool rahi ho do dinn pehle hi humaari shaadi huyi hai..(and he closes in for a kiss...but, madhu jerks off his hand saying..) 😆

Madhu : aur tum bhool rahe ho ki mujhe ye follow karna hai(showing him the diet paper)

Madhu reaches the door and rk blocks her closing the door with one hand and blocking madhu with the other...

Madhu : hatto RK

Rk : jaao...maine kahan roka hai...(moving his hand away from the door)

Madhu : not bad! Itni jaldi maan gaye!

Rk : maana nahi hoon...tum soup lekar aao...lekin piyoonga main ek hi shart pe (winks)
