Grrr, i am getting so confused with what is happening in this show.
I totally understand that RK deserves to be taught a lesson for the way he treated Madhu and yes his ego and attitude needs to be addressed but breaking his heart??? He's already been heartbroken so really if you think about it all Madhu will be doing is pretty much the same thing Dips did to him and what his mum did to him.
It will only make his ego and attitude climb sky high and make him a much more bitter person, in fact there really will be no light at the end of the tunnel for RK or any salvation.
Had Madhu used her plan to teach him the value of true love, to make him realise his mistakes and how to respect the person you love that would have made sense but this intention that she has I really don't understand it.
On top of that there are rumours that Sultan and Madhu will get married to teach RK a lesson in heartbreak...like really? He's RK he's probably just going to end up being the person he was when we first saw him.
I get that Sultan values Madhu as a friend and he want's to help her but even he can see that her plan is flawed and that she does still love RK despite her denial.
What is even more annoying and illogical is that we have had moments where both RK and Madu have displayed their inner feelings for one another.
- The night of the drunken party
- The location shoot where RK beats up that guy, followed by the water bottle and bag scene
- When Madhu fell outside his vanity van
- When Madhu is missing in the forest and RK waits in the Chawl for her
- When RK wanted to apologise for the phone incident on set
- The holi scene
- The questioning scene in the Chawl after the shoot out when she pushes for answers
I'm sure there are more scenes but what i'm trying to emphasise is that they do love each other deep down.
And RK is now slowing learning to listen to his heart, something Madhu knew he didn't do before but something she urged him to do with accepting his mother, accepting Ganpati Bappa back in his life, both times she was instrumental in making him understand and learn.
And even during the drunken episode he admits that he didn't listen to his heart but that he has one and wants her to help him understand.
I just don't get what the CVs are trying to do, whether they think that a momentary increase of a few handful of Sultan fans can help sustain their show by showing a different track with both Madhu and Sultan pairing is going to help them increase their trps or show status compared to the original fans who fell in love with the show from the beginning with the enticement of RK and Madhu.
Honestly I'm a fan of the show and I am willing to see where the story leads to but I'll be honest and say that the magic of this show is slowly beginning to fade for me, I think catering to one fan base over the other is wrong and I also think trying to placate both fan bases is also wrong because what that has led to is the mess up of characters which is annoying the fans.
Instead why can't they stick to the blueprint that they had for the show which was a story of a girl thrown into the life of films and stardom and how the introduction of a superstar in her life paved her for a life she did not think she would choose.
That is what the promos were all about, what was the USP of the show.
Now it seems to be slowly turning into a typical daily soap with multiple marriages, breakups, makeups and 3/4 husbands along the way.
