I never had doubts about his feelings for her, infact his love is one of a kind but his king sized ego always got better of him. If he could curb his ego and self regard, Madhu will be one of the luckiest women around.. Yes! I am saying it loud .. because he can never love anyone else..
I can agree with you, he has feelings towards her but he never tried to recognized it...I do not want discuss about his love here ,my point is focus on the bold part. there is a confusion. he loved Deepali...it was also deep and true love because still he affected and stuck in the pain that deepali gave him...then he loved Madhubala... if he failed in love in this second time too , no doubts I agree with you he will not go to the 3rd person...never...so that is his biggest weakness more than his ego.. in that way he is not normal human being... ego is not a big thing.when people faced in lot of losses in their lives they are having personality disorders..to recover their personality they are developing big ego...it is normal..
but RK is abnormal in that way he is unable to recover his fails...If we look Madhubala..she loved Mukund,. Lost him . then loved RK , lost him and I am sure she can move with another person in her life...may be Sultan or some one else...that is normal human being...
You are always welcome to comment on my posts because I am not RK or Madhu fan.. Yes I wanna see them together, but I like to call a spade a spade. 😊 I accept when they are wrong, and that happens quite often..
The reason I liked the two is because I can relate to them because they have the kind of craziness and spunk in them, which most normal people don't. Yes, there are bigger personality problems with RK n navety issues with Madhu.
I don't think Madhu ever loved Mukund, yes he was entering into a relationship with him like many Indian girls do.. But that does not define love.. May be understanding, may be respect but not that connection. I always have this discussion with my parents and other people who like to blow the marriage trumpet on my face.
RK definitely loved Dipali and she ditched him, this made him wary of future relationships. And then Madhu entered his life and be inadvertently fell in love with her. From what I see his ego got better of him, but he didnt deny to himself that he loves her. Infact he refuses to accept it in front of people. that was shown everyday since the night if unwedding that he was confortable and aware of his feelings.. He still talks about his right to love her, but never accepts that he loves her.. This is his biggest problem, and this is why he comes across as abusive, or insensitive.. But I think he is not a lost case.. I still have hope..
From what I see, for some people it's just not easy to move on and they don't. Normal people do, infact they should. But not people with a stubborn streak like RK n Madhu. They may try but not succeed.. Even if they do, the tug remains.. And especially the kind of connection they had, thy will never move on. Their relationship was not based on attraction. It just happened and the connection they have is kinda uncanny.
That's just my take, may be I am wrong but I want the crazies to be together.
