Even if the TRPs are not officially released to the media and public by TAM during no TRP phase, the PH and channel still get to see the unofficial numbers(TRPs). How do you think CVs would continue running a show without gauging viewers reaction to it? That would lead to a creative disaster.
So, they might have got a hold of those TRPs internally and weaved their story accordingly.

If it gets high trps even because of others actions/hardwork, But credit goes to RK after all just the mere presence of him is the real reason why trps are high during that episode according to this forum.
