Guys, not likely that the 'kidnapping' track would be found unacceptable. It's great acting but the actual actions were nowhere near as harsh as on any of the other TRP-topping serials in far milder situations.
The couple being married, and loving each other makes everything look a lot less sinister.
And the TRP audience tends to watch peacefully even if the hot water is tossed at the female lead or she is made to walk on actual glass.
So the Rishbala eps may have TRPs affected by the matches.
It would be the reason if TRPs do lower.
Show the female lead in more anguish, and so long as there is no third guy that she is even unknowingly not keeping at a distance, TRP audience sympathy for her feelings and hopes for the couple to stop fighting and reunite will work in favour TRPwise.
Without scenes that TRP audience might favour, TRPs will fall worse in contest with IPL.
But the other guy's presence - if increased - could have a repeat of the Mukund effect all over again.

@Ashu- No, it's not just about bhai's lameness, even RK stood lost. Only our kali ma/Bella was speaking continuously. I want one power packed RishTan confrontation without Madhu's interference.

I would prefer - overall TRPs notwithstanding - good TRPs for every ep in which the other guy is not.
The MEIEJ powers-that-be seem to have difficulty in understanding the big picture. Hopefully, zoom image of parts of the pic will make things clearer.
On the plus side, if they continue with the experiment, the Mukund effect will be in full grand effect, they may see the difference between TRPs lowered only because of IPL and TRPs lowered because of the great "don't like, don't watch" advice properly followed. Hills and mountains.
On a sidenote, does anyone here now if any of the TRP-topping serials have so many CVs this active online?😕
