Sultan wasn't only concern about madhu, he was thinking about his son. When Aryan told him " where are we going to move on..there is sea" that's when sultan was hit hard. Sea is death, there is nothing beyond it, it takes everything in its path. He knew that he can't give his son a proper life or hope living a normal life.The life he has chosen, there is no way out.
