I just felt like writing this since some RishBala fans weren't happy with the incomplete first RishBala holi. I've begun the numerously requested OS on which RK takes Madhu back home and will probably post that tomorrow night! As well my VM on Tum Hi Ho is also almost done, couldn't finish it today as I wished I had. Anyways, I hope you all like this OS!
Pehli Holi Maaf?
"Where are you going Madhu?" Padmini asked with a worried expression.
"Ma, I promise I'll be back soon, I just need to go do something," Madhu answered reassuringly.
Padmini knew she could trust her daughter, so she nodded her head. Madhu, who had felt uneasy since seeing RK rush away from the chawl, quickly ran out of her home. She ran down the stairs and looked around. She saw the tray with red powder from earlier and rushed towards it. She picked up the tray slowly as she was shot with the flashback of RK placing colour on her. She wanted to smile but felt terrible for what she had done to him. She began heading out of the chawl when she heard a voice.
"Are you going somewhere?"
Madhu turned around to see Sultan standing there. They had both survived the Bhujang attack, but he had managed to get away.
Sultan's eyes landed on the tray in Madhu's hands as she hesitated with an answer.
"RK?"
Her eyes shot up at him and she slowly nodded her head.
"It's not safe out there. I'll take y..."
"No...no, I'm fine...thank you."
The last thing Madhu wanted was for RK to see her getting a ride from the man he began to despise.
Sultan nodded his head, not wanting to force Madhu, so he headed back to his temporary home. Madhu rushed out of the chawl with the tray and caught the first taxi she could.
"Where would you like to go ma'am?"
"RK mansion."
---
The car rolled to a stop outside RK's mansion gates. She stepped out of the car and grabbed the tray.
"Do you happen to know what time it is?"
"11:45pm ma'am."
"Thank you..."
She quickly paid the taxi man and began running towards the gate. She only had 15 minutes left. The gatekeepers recognized her and let her in instantly. She ran full speed towards the doors, while making sure not to drop the tray full of colour. RK always kept his home doors open since he had gates to keep out unwanted people out. She stepped into the home she had once avoided and saw Bittuji about to head up the stairs. He stopped in his steps and turned to stare at her.
"Bhabiji?"
Bittuji rushed towards Madhu and stopped himself from smiling as he noticed the tray of colour in her hands. Madhu slowly placed the tray on the closest table and took a handful. She hid her hands behind her back.
"RK...where's RK?"
"He's upstairs...you can go bhabiji..."
Madhu thought back to all the past memories, which had been made in that room. She had no intention of reliving them, so she shook her head no.
"Can you call R..."
She trailed off as she noticed RK retreating the steps. His eyes on her. He still wore the kurta from earlier and she still wore the same clothes she had, the only difference was that they had both washed their faces.
"Bittuji, you can go."
RK spoke as his eyes remained on Madhu. He got to the bottom of the steps as Bittuji exchanged a look between the both of them.
"Bittuji!"
Bittuji quickly ran out of the foyer as he kept glancing back.
RK came to a stop in front of Madhu as she stared up at him with remorseful eyes.
"RK..."
"You remembered me now?"
Madhu's eyes flickered, as she looked away, unable to keep eye contact. Then suddenly her eyes shot back in RK's direction.
"What time is it?"
RK looked confused but then looked down at his watch.
"11:50pm...why?"
Madhu looked up into RK's eyes and knew she had to do it. She slowly brought her hand in front of her as RK kept his eyes locked on hers. She raised her hand and just as her hand made contact with his face, he closed his eyes. She gently ran her hand down his face while placing colour on him. As soon as she began removing her hand, his eyes slowly opened.
"Holi mubarak...RK."
RK stared down at Madhu silently. They kept their eyes locked for a moment but then Madhu broke the silence.
"Pehli holi maaf nahi karoge?" she asked softly.
RK kept his eyes on her, looking her face up and down from her eyes to her lips. Then he slowly let a smile cross his face. He ran his hand against his cheek and then gently placed his hand against her cheek. Her lips trembled at his touch once again as he placed colour on her once again. Madhu closed her eyes as he ran the back of his hand down her face, her neck, her shoulder...and finally down her arm to slowly interlock his fingers with hers. Madhu slowly opened her eyes and stared at their hands as he did. Then they looked back towards each other. They locked eyes once again.
"I...I have to go..." Madhu spoke in a trance.
"Stay."
"No...I should go, ma's wai..."
"Please?"
Madhu fell silent and stared at him.
"Ma's waiting..."
RK refused to let her go.
"Stay here...I'll tell Bittuji to tell sasuma th..."
"RK, what time is it?"
RK glanced towards his watch and then back up at her.
"11:59pm, why?" he asked confused.
"Wait, one minute."
RK stared at her confused. He kept glancing down at his watch.
"10...9..."
"Happy first holi for the last time RK."
"Happy first holi to you too Biwi...2...1..."
"RK! Let me go!"
Madhu flung her hand out of his and stepped away. He stared at her confused for a moment but then glanced down at his watch again. He realized it was a new day. Which meant their first holi was over. He decided to play along with it.
"Biwi! You're staying here tonight!"
"No Mr. Rishabh Kundra!"
Madhu turned around and walked towards the door. Just as she was about to leave, she turned her head over her shoulder to stare back at RK. She smiled. RK smiled back at her and then watched her leave. RK ran his hand through his hair and turned around after she was out of sight. He smiled while thinking about her.
"Biwi...ek baar phir mere ishq, mere junoon ne tumhe pukaara...aana hoga tumhe meri zindagi me dobaara."
