Sorry I don't think so there is chance for any 50-50, he is good father and it is shown clearly. He cares for safety of his son and also goes out of way to make sure no one hurt sentiments of his son by calling him anything and giving any dhamki to him.

I am sorry 😳 but I didn't found that he is using his son, He did so because he knew he will never ever hurt him for anything. He knew he will reach in time balki he was near by. What Sultan did was not wrong, he hadn't used his son but just they work like a team to catch the enemies. but you cannot doubt on his love and who not used someone. You cannot judge his love as 50-50, instead if we see RK used Madhu like a prey to satisfy his false ego.
