Sultan gets shot and Madhu follows Aryan and Kaka to the place where he's hiding. She takes his bullet out and saves him during which he tightly holds her hand but is unconscious. After that Sultan wakes up and they argue over Aryan as usual. Sultan is showing melting towards Aryan for the first time and he hugs him like a Father. Some moments between Madhu and Sultan are shown. He tells her about how Aryan's Mother leaves them as soon as she gives birth (we don't know if he meant she was alive or dead) . Madhu saves Sultan from being caught by Bhujang's men and brings them to Roma's place in the chawl. She hides that from her Mother and Trishna but they find out and Padmini scolds Madhu on giving shelter to a Gangster. Sultan over hears it and gives Padmini a brief insight to his life and promises that because Madhu saved his life, he would not let anything happen to them or the chawl and his words were "Yeh aik Gangster ka vada hai"
