Obviously the show is all about Madhu! From the start, the cvs have said that this show is about an ordinary girl becoming into a heroine...it's about her life, her relations, her everything!

Well, obviously if the show narrates the story about a girl born on film set,, the girl will be the central character.

I think this says it all: Madhubala, a story of a girl born on the sets of a Bollywood film who grows up to be mesmerizingly beautiful. She has no aspirations of entering the glamorous film industry but fate has something else in store for her. A girl with simple dreams is compelled to act and to everyones surprise a new star is born. Madhubala - a gripping story of middle class aspirations, values and desires, set against the backdrop of Bollywood.

^^ The underline says it all said by Prashant Bhat who is the concept writer of this show and also Colors' fiction head! When a show starts, initial promos give a background what the story is about & there too they clearly says whose LIFE STORY, this show is about!

& I am glad Makers are sticking to it. A week ago PB again said the same when asked how MB has become successful. He said the same how audience relate & curious to see from where Madhu's journey is, how she got married to RK, how she was cheated & now how she is strong enough to pick herself & move on!!


BUT I just hope CVS also develop her character & Not just use her as to move forward the story! I know it's her story, that's why CVS are the most slow when it comes to her character development since they can't develop her character fast like others when they know the whole show will revolve around her, so her character will go through little by little as the story moves! Still I hope they also develop her character well. So far her character is really handled well, & hoping for even better in future! :D

And LOL kudos to makers, the way they have sketched her character is like a water who flows everywhere. This way the show story moves on as well through her, also no one can say why since her character is the way they have sketched it cleverly. And for those still not understanding why things are the way happening or bashing Madhu, then I have nothing to say. It's her character, because they have watched the show till now. Else the story wouldn't have moved on at all. Since the first episode, it's her & her only! Her birth, her engagement, her marriage, her husband, her now being cheated. her meeting Sultan, & we will see more & more till the end of the show!:D

very very good post, True yaar from promo its self they said story about a girl, n in that girl journey who played different char that what they are showing really happy they stuck on it.this was never be just a romantic story, first part they shown Pad mini for her unborn baby that is MAdhu, then Madhu forced marriage n all char developed around her , now again after getting cheat how her story going around with other ppl. basically we should have to watch with this fact then ppl may understand Writer view not like what we want Cvs should have to show that otherwise boycott
