RK only has a problem of his own. A spoiled brat, egoistic, insecure man. His past doesn't seem to be that much darker since he has mended his relationship with his mom so easily that also on Madhu's request, the person he was taking revenge. If hsi past is so dark and his mother is so wrong why should he do what Madhu asked.

So him being like the man he is is no better than Sultan, so far.

But lets see what Sultan's past is before defending Sultan.
