Which way,Madhubala?

Madhubala..ahaan..RK's Madhu has come a long way.

Madhu has two men in her life now. One is standing on the threshold; about to enter the other is also standing on the threshold, but, about to leave. Madhu needs to make a choice. But, does she really have a choice?

Her coming in way of RK's life and subsequent marriage was purely situation driven. And if she chooses Sultan, that too will be situation driven.

Looking back ,she was introduced to the two men in a violent situation. Her marriage and subsequent entry to RK mansion was horrific. So was her introduction to Sultan.

True,RK has many faults. He cheated Madhu in the most vicious manner. The reception after the marriage was horrific,but, the dumping of Madhu was more heart wrenching. It is not easy to forget and not easy to forgive.. RK is not to be entirely blamed for this. He is a superstar and he is used to bask in the glory of stardom. People worship the ground he walks on and any man will have a heady feeling with such amount of adulation. He is no different. RK loved Madhu no doubt, but, he also wanted to subjugate her. It was the love between the ruler and the ruled. He never treated Madhu as an equal .And she being a righteous girl, who only wanted to complete whatever was left incomplete, was cheated out of it. And the bubble had to burst one day. But,it burst in the most despicable manner.

So they went their separate ways. Then the realization dawned, but, RK being insane with rage and humiliated by being constantly shunned by Madhu is at his worst. He feels he can still apply pressure tactics and get her back .but ,he made the mistake of pushing Madhu out of his life through his attitude.

Madhu has searched for a new meaning and has struggled to come to terms with the reality. It is with great difficulty she has made peace with herself.

Ladies,by and large ,do not forget either love or pain. They may forgive, but, will not forget. RK is the pain in Madhu's life. She will never forget him. He is the love of her life in the most agonizing way.

Once Madhu was out of his life, came the realization for RK,and the time has come to ponder: is it too late?

Why do I think ,it is too late for RK? Is it because I see a new entry in her life? Sultan.?

No. It is the end because this relationship was not based on trust. It was based on hatred and it transformed into a relationship which needed a push from RK but it was sadly lacking.

And then this man entered. Sultan.

I do not find him a man to look up to and definitely not a man any right thinking girl would like to spend her life with. Sultan has a weakness: his son. And he treats him as an adult. But, a child is a child and that is where Madhu comes in. Madhu's entry into his life again is situation driven. And again,not a very appealing situation.

But,what a coincidence!

Sultan is a man who knows where he stands and what are his limitations. He knows how far he can go and what is right or wrong in a civilized society. What are dealings of this don is not known, but, over there also he has set his standards. He will not trade in drugs nor allow any one else to deal with it. He can be a ruthless if any one even suggests that.

He will see to it that some one else does not pay the price for his mistakes. He has built his den in a hideout. He knows the danger of venturing out, yet he pays the visit to Madhu's house to seek apology. He understands the damage done and owes the responsibility.

These are the uncanny similarities I find between his and Madhu's characters. Fearless,no nonsense persons. Wont bow their heads but, also will not make any one so helpless to bow his head in front of them. And these similarities will draw both of them to each other. How and when ,that remains to be seen.

rk doesn't deserve madhu.

Well what RK did or doing is wrong...

But I dont want Sultan also for Madhu...he is a gangster for gods sake...

brilliantly written 👏...and venturing into the territory of 'who is better for madhu' is not an easy topic to debate on this forum(for reasons known to all of us)...but u still went ahead and did it...which is no mean feat 😉.

for me the reason to watch this show has always been rishbala...and even the revenge track,however cruel and despicable it might be kept me hooked...cos saccharine sweet romance is not my cup of tea...it had to evolve into something else and so it did.However along the way,my beloved character RK somehow lost his sparkle...he still rules,don't get me wrong but his unrelenting drive to humiliate Madhu simply cos he can and because he's suffering too(cos he loves madhu subconsciously)and that's how twisted the character is...are all reasons that don't sit well with me anymore.There seems to be no limit to which he can degrade himself to satisfy his ego...and thats a scary thought in itself . BUT at the end of the day...he's the hero who will,come what may,will eventually walk away with the princess and live happily ever after.

and yeah sultan is not next in line to become the pope himself...and all the hue and cry about him being a gangster and hence not a suitable prospective groom for madhu makes sense realistically...which this show is not...so here i'm willing to empathise with a gansgter who isn't devoid of humanity(his actions have already proven that).but his character is not that of a protagonist...so his saintly deeds and good looks will only serve his purpose of a catalyst in rishbala union...and thats about it.

but till then lets see how the story unfolds...😊
