Thank you. I (sort of) did my research on that front.

but on second thoughts she has just met RK, who is he? and why does he want to help me? what would he want in return? to seek help RK is not the person...but then it is INDIA help from any quarters MAY not be clear of under running motives...

Survival of the fittest (popular language, not scientific meaning) is what she has learned all her life. This includes being wary of strangers.

and you have shown her to be smart and intelligent and well read ...that is why she believes she is rather safe here than any where else...oh I so feel for this Madhu.

That was partially to show that abuse can happen to any one, not just the uneducated, meek woman.

Knowingly, unknowingly you were able to sketch a women really trapped under indian circumstances. God forbid but had I been in Madhu's place RK would have been the last person I would have sought help from. I dont feel like she should be with RK yet...but then may be he is her only chance at a better life..

Do not picture RK as anything more than a filmstar. shed all your preconceived notions from the show.
