CURRENT ALTER EGO: Rishabh Kundra (RK) in Madhubala ' Ek Ishq Ek Junoon

BEING A PART OF MADHUBALA, A SERIAL NAMED AFTER ITS FEMALE LEAD: Any show gets successful due to teamwork; everyone tries to give off their best. The story or the concept of the show is only complete when it has different characters playing different shades and that adds flavour to it. According to me my show is ultimately about a self-centred man RK and not just about Madhubala.

STEPPING INTO RK'S SHOES: RK's character is diametrically opposite to what I am. I am a very fun-loving person. It is only when I step into character do I enjoy every moment of my alter ego's life.

YOUR INSPIRATION FOR RK IS...: Salman Khan is definitely my inspiration to have a toned and well-groomed body. But as far as my character in Madhubala Ek Ishq, Ek Junoon is concerned, I am not trying to emulate any Bollywood actor.

THE ROAD TO ACTING: I started by considering it as a job. Slowly it became a hobby, but now it has become my passion.

FIRST SHOOT MOMENT: The first time I faced a camera was for Kasamh Se ' I had only faced still cameras for photo shoots earlier. I was amazed to see the cameras moving all around.

GETTING UNDER THE SKIN OF THE CHARACTER: The emotional scenes that are packed with drama and heavy dialogues can make you feel very exhausted, physically as well as mentally. And every actor has to ensure that he looks fit and fine on-screen as well as off it. With my rigorous work schedules, I ensure that I eat and sleep on time.

ON A DAY OFF: I like to relax at home or go out shopping with my wife ' Vahbiz (Dorabjee). I also love to call my friends over and cook some delicious meals for them.

WHAT NEXT? I have not drawn up a specific blueprint of what I want to do. I am very happy doing daily soaps right now, but I look forward to doing some reality shows in future. I am open to all kinds of work ' be it television, modelling or films. Let's see what God has in store for me.
