M-EIEJ : Episode dated 25th February 2013 : A Personal Contemplate

RK not venting his wrath on Madhu for this slap and just as I had assumed leading her out of the studio and locking himself in...is indeed comprehensible as it's become obvious to us that RK's ulterior motive was never revenge but to alienate himself from Madhu...to belittle himself in her eyes to such an extent that she doesn't have any affection left for him...his objective is also to incite her into aiming higher and not just remain a common girl...he wants her to realize her actual potential...While the reason behind all this still remains a mystery for us...

What contrasting personalities Rishbala are...On the one hand RK tries to assuage the turbulence of emotions by way of destruction (destroying the furniture and things lying about in his room), while on the other, Madhu seeks solace in silence...of course the best line here was by Bittuji "ye pyar ka nasha hai, sharab ka nahi..." something akin to this...

A particularly heartening moment was Trishna extending her support to her sister...yup, no matter how self-centered or selfish a person she is, she certainly cannot remain untouched towards her own sister who has undergone so much heart-ache and pain...

Failing in his second attempt to force Madhu from leaving this job, RK sets out with plan three...this time he is using Dipali, who is only too willing to be in his good books and would certainly relish and leave no stone unturned to make Madhu leave RK's sets...

Too bad that Dipali couldn't relish this moment, but we did relish this with Madhu having the last word and what lines...Raghuvirji, tussi great ho...

Throughout, to me the episode of today was a very interesting one ...To me , it was the exceptional performances from all and the dialogues that uplifted a simple episode of today...IM, SM and AP, are such good actors...as for Drashti, to me only she and she is Madhubala...Vivian, and am beginning to believe so for him too...

Wrapping this contemplate with a retro to bring out Madhu's angst : "hum the jinke sahare, wo huye na hamare, doobi jab dil ki naiya, samne the kinare..." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9T6BflXhcvM)

hmm. I don't really agree with you this time:).. There was no other option for him but to show her out.

She already mocked the fragility of his ego by throwing his revenge game in his face- 'you tried ruining my life for those 4 slaps.. now what for the fifth? ..'

Even yesterday when Madhu had implied many things by throwing her dupatta off, she did not mean that he would really do any such thing. In her anger she wanted to be condescending and scornful. The best way was to show him that she thought there was nothing too low for him.

So ,when she's already mocked his ego, what remains for his anger? The only thing he could do was not show to her how damn angry and affected he was. Nothing would have affected her anyway. and so he throws her forcefully out.

This is how I see it. There was no noble motive behind his revenge.none. and now he's fighting the confusion of why there's no satisfaction to be derived from having won that game.

Agree with u here ...its sheer Ego battle for him. He would have thought it to be an easy win, but resilience displayed by Madhubala cowered his Egoistic self. ...and now he involved another party in this game...it just shows his desperation to feed his butchered Ego...

Your posts are always written beautifully but I do have to say that it is getting tedious having R.K always getting away with his dumb shenanigans, it is time now to make R.K jealous and really get under his skin by bringing in a new and handsome guy who will make Madhubala laugh and smile. I hope the writers go that route.

friends, wow, firstly thank you for voicing your opinions...really appreciate it...even the adverse opinions are truly enlightening...just putting in my wishful thinking...to me RK was always the "black knight" and wished him to remain so...had hoped that a "white knight" will come in Madhu's life much later...however, the subtle cues and the undercurrents in the present track seem to indicate otherwise...so for now am just waiting and watching...whatever the course taken by the CVs, have faith in them as MB has a very competent crew, so far, have come up with some interesting and surprising twists and turns...
