Need I elaborate here that "what an intensely painful emotional drama" today's episode has been...Let me begin by just giving a glimpse of what's in RK's heart : "It was going to be a long, dark night but not quite as dark as it was in the abyss of his heart where there was nothing but hollowness, yet it felt heavy, almost as if someone still resided there." (Faraaz Kazi)...
"Tears shed for another person are not a sign of weakness. They are a sign of a pure heart." (Jose' N.Harris) and this is exactly what prevents RK from making Madhu go through the humiliation...
I am rendered speechless, don't know whether to applaud, thank or curse the entire clan of Madhubala for making me go through this tumultuous emotional ride...hating RK and yet empathizing with his distress...as for Madhu, my heart wept with this girl and also felt a sense of pride at her self resilience...Vivian, simply bang on in conveying the covert pathos of RK and Drashti, conveying all the heart felt emotions and thoughts has become her forte...
The entire part pertaining to Rishbala's see-saw of emotions took over me so completely that the one involving a harried Padmini's attempts to reach her daughter to find out she was alright and Radhaji's attempts to make her son admit that he indeed loves his biwi more than himself, appeared inconsequential...
The clincher was of course the slap by Madhu and daring him to go ahead and get his vengeance...as "this time round she has nothing more to lose now...
Before I wrap up my discourse with this retro that's a perfect rendition of Madhu's bitterness towards RK : "Tu kya jaane wafa, o bewafa, o bewafa..." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6pAeTn4bTI )
