The slap was not just for accidental ripping of sleeves..it was for all that he has been doing since he left her on the altar..no scratch that..for all he has been planning since the time she last slapped him..
It was for showing her a dream of lovely future of togetherness and then ruthlessly shattering it with his own hands in private and public..that too repeatedly..for professing unconditional love when all the while he was systematically executing his revenge..for mocking her true love and that of her family as well..for mocking her attempts to get her life together and move on..
It was for trying to act like god and write her destiny..to control her life..and using underhanded techniques to do so..it was for treating her like a toy..for trying to destroy her..
It was for showing concern over her condition when he is the reason she is in this condition..for thinking that he still has right over her..that was the final tipping point..
It was never just about the torn sleeves..

The slap doesn't prove that she is strong, but then neither does slapping him make her weak..
Neither can the timing make her right or wrong..
It just shows that she has reached the end of her tolerance when it came to his actions..
