OMG u totally read my mind!!!

In any serial, the main actress wears sarees that are backless, net=u can see stomach, back and front and even net sleeves.

BUT they can't wear sleeveless cuz that's considered bad... Wearing net where u can see Everything is OK but sleeveless is a no no? Absolutely nonsense!!

Same goes with the scenes where they have dori.. if the dori gets opened they are like :-O :-O toofan ho gaya but that dori does not open anything, u can see as much as Before when it was tied.

Same goes with dupattas.. they are there for no reason but God forbid if someone drops their dupatta then aafaat agaya..

This dress that Madhu is wearing is covered from top till toe, it's just sleeveless.. If the CV's really wanted to make a statement, then they should have given her a SHORT modern dress.. then we could understand her feelings..

But yes, essentially its not about the dress, its the humiliation

the point here was NOT abt the bare back but abt finally getting exposed to the filmy duniya...when RK was removing the dupatta it was not abt madhu showing off her bk but was abt Rk finally introducing her to the showbiz...it can be symbolized as the curtain raiser as well...I me glad cvs hv brought the track real fast without stretching the fyts ny longer...
