Of all the theories and questions running in the forum right now, this one, Madhu going too fast?, is the one i felt compelled to answer..
There's something to be said about how cruelly her death blow was dealt. Rks' vitriolic rant, delivered ruthlessly with the intention to inflict maximum damage, was particularly painful.. the way it hit her on the stairs, his words didn't have to barge their way into her, they were already there,deep deep inside, and now they come out , like a hooked dagger, viciously pulling apart her insides on the way..
there's immeasurable hurt, and loss, and there's humiliation , despair.. but worst he sought to shred her self-respect,.. 'leave her so naked in front of herself, and shamed, she'll never recover'. that s what he sought to do.
and after the breakdown the night before, this is what she starts with first. Self respect.
She's from a very average household. Taking time off to heal in private, is an alien notion. Down there where they are, you take a beating and you get up and fight again the next day. how else do you survive.. and when its Madhu, you get up again , with dignity.
She does not for a moment underestimate how deep the man , or his love runs in her veins. I so love her for that. She knows she's broken.. it was Love that she has lost! and she's humble and simple enough to acknowledge that it will take time.. this humility is the only recourse available to her and her family. and courage.
To not be stubborn and deny, but to gracefully accept and then move on.
(its a long way to her recovering from this, like Padmini said the night before-' its something that may haunt her till the end' . But , today was only about her hope, for a time when these wounds would cease to bother her.)
It was very sensitively done.. her new morning. subdued yet firm.. nothing loud or dramatic, but a simple promise to her mum that she'll be fine again.
in my opinion, its just beautifully paced.. I hope they keep the tempo going.
The actors are just fantastic.. the new track has breathed new life into them all it seems:)

There seems to be some confusion regarding this post I think.. When I said i liked the 'pacing' it does not mean that it is 'fast paced'. The point of this post is that I do NOT think that Madhu is NORMAL by any measure, nor that they went fast about it.
How can Madhu be normal the next day itself?! The fact that she is ready to face the world 'normally' and 'immediately' means she is ready to deal with the pain, not that the pain has gone. The pain is yet to come. Only the shock/numbness has worn off.
