It is from RK's perspective..some new characters have been added for fun and have made some assumptions.
It has been three years since the dramatic night; since I kicked her out my life; since I let ego rule my heart and since I made a promise to self about her. But now three years later: Here she is to become my bride for the third time. RK the superstar was marrying Madhubala Mallik the superstar. She had released a note two weeks ago saying that she wanted to quit the industry and has wrapped all her shoots. So, here I was again to make her mine and take her away forever.
She walked in resplendent in a red saree in gold border. I am not sure the reason for the color but she looked like an angel. She was wearing green bangles and simple gold neck piece and ear-rings. No one would say she was a super star. The entire family was present: The Bhatias, The Kundras including Akira Kundra: my sister and Madhu's best friend, The Malliks and the film fraternity including Nikhil Khanna (new character). I am not sure who invited Nikhil but he and Madhu had become very close and were the hot couple in B town. But now, she will no longer be his as she will become mine.
Saasu Maa and Trishna brought into the mandap. As she walked in, I looked her in the eyes and sensed something was amiss. She was no longer the dreamy Madhubala. I had broken her then but now I wanted her to give me a chance to mend her heart. But she looked away at Akira and Nikhil.
She sat next to me. I felt her fear over the pheras and knew that she was tensed as to whether I would complete it. I wanted to tell her not to worry but the priest started the rituals. The priest asked us to stand for the pheras. I could sense the tension in the air. I completed the first four pheras for the third time and then it was her turn. I stepped behind her and could feel her body become rigid. I pulled the gatbandhan and she turned to me. I smiled and held her hand so that she could complete the last three pheras...long overdue. But finally it was done. I applied the sindoor and then tied the mangalsutra..new one specially crafted in diamonds for my Madhu. We took the elders blessings and then headed to RK mansion for the rituals. Each ritual was completed this time.
RKs bedroom:
I called out to her "Biwi, change kar lo".
She looked to me and said "Thanks" and walked away into the washroom. I wanted to follow her in but there was time. She stepped out NOT in her night clothes but jeans and tee shirt.
I asked her "Biwi, suhaag raat hai, fashion shoot nahi". She smiled and said " Pata hai Superstar, mein shooting pe jaa rahi hoon"
I was stunned "shooting, mein ne toh socha tha khi tum industry chodna chahthi ho". She replied "Haan RK, par ab nahi"
I asked "Kyun" and she had an evil smile and fiery eyes " Tab mein Nikhil Khanna ke saath ja rahi thi jo ek acha actor hain lekin superstar nahi. PAR AB MERI SHAADI RK THE SUPERSTAR IS HUI HAI JO KISSIN CHAWAL YAH MIDDLE CLASS HOUSEWIFE SE SHAADI NAHI KAR SAKTHA. TOH SUPERSTAR (SHE DID NOT CALL ME PATI) MEIN FILMS MEIN CONTINUE KAROONGI AUR MERA NIGHT SHIFT HAI NIKHIL KE SAATH". I pulled her into my arms but she walked out.
Then I knew I had lost her forever and would have to fight until my last breadth to get her back.
