He loves her 100% and more. Whatever revenge or separation he is plotting, there is a solid reason behind it...he cannot hurt Madhu, and will never do it. There must be a reason behind it. Otherwise he would not have gone to the extent of fixing all the problems in Madhu's family.

CVs have created his character with a lot of thought...hope they can keep it intact.
