I kind of saw that evilness in his eyes, he always said things to make him look superior to madhu and even when he was doing/saying romantic things, if you guys notice, he was always looking at madhu's face her reactions instead of drooling like the dori opening scene. I think he was waiting until madhu was completely in love with him and now he knows that she is head over heels in love with him and that's when he will drop the bomb on her to completely break her. Like someone said, the hint was there in the champi wala scene and everytime he said I love you (except the song one) none of them was for real, you can so tell. But I guess I am ready for this twist, because now once she is gone he will realize what he has done and that he has actually fallen in love with her, but it will be too late to mend. He will be crazy about her now. I can see it.
