---- I own up that I was skeptic about today's episode as was dreading lest it turn out just another "run of the mill" aftermath, filled with emotional and dramatic cliche'...Am was pleasantly surprised as I really found it both enjoyable and an engrossing fare...
"Not looking me in the eye" : RK ridden with self-guilt and blaming himself being responsible for all the trauma that his Madhu and her family have undergone...Naturally, his mind clouded with too many if and buts...It's this self-blame and the fear of being misconstrued that has him avoiding eye contact with Madhu and also urging her to be with her mother and her family as they needed her more so now...
"Feeling betrayed by one of our own" : Mallik's stern demeanor towards Trishna and reprimanding her for her selfishness which put her dreams above all, even at the risk of the family member's lives...The actor portraying Mallik is simply outstanding, he was just too good here...Madhu also confronting Trishna for her self centeredness and subsequently learning of RK's involvement in all this...Bittuji, the RK bhakt that he is, trying to justify and defend his chief on Trish's allegations...
""Trust is the fruit of a relationship in which you know you are loved." (Paul Young) : Liked the way Madhu induces RK to own up and unladen all his self blame and guilt to her...Am in love with this faith Madhu has in her RK...It's she who makes him realize that he's was only instrumental and not responsible for this unfortunate event that fate had befallen on them...this retro seems just so perfect here :
"main tumhi se poochti hoon, mujhe tumse pyar kyon hai, kabhie tum daga na doge, ye aitbaar kyon hai..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Yd3O65EfYM
"How do I get her out of her stupor" : Padmini, still in the blanked out state and Madhu and all worried about her condition...Nothing much to dissect here...remains to be seen how this one is developed from here...kept subtle or going into melodramatic mode...me hoping it to be the former...
----- I think one thing that most appealed to me was the simple and straightforward unfolding of events...liked this "much ado about nothing" manner in which this entire episode was handled...Drashti, once again excelling here...Vivian, convincing...Arati, Indresh, Shamaji, all doing good job and yes Shamsher, excellent in whatever little he had to impart today...Dialogues, never let us down...
