@Bold: I am confused about that part too. However if she did know then I would say Trishna is the most shameless character in this entire show even more than Dips. The lady has not displayed a single ounce of regret over her actions. She seems to consider offence as best defence.
My dislike for this character beats even my dislike for Dips and at times Radha.
I have an odd feeling that writers are undecided as to where they want to place Trishna. So far it seems that Trishna is geared to play gray character. She is watered down version of Ballu with her ambition, tendency to blame others for her misfortune and lack of emotional empathy. I have always found it odd that she connected more to Shamsher and Roma than Padmini who had practically lost her chance to escape because of her. However she has not hesitated in betraying Shamsher and Roma for her ambitions with movie incident either.
On a side note there have been times when viewers had ended up having a completely different perception of a character than what writers intended. Radha being an example...writers intended her to be a pitiful character pining for her son instead she can across as manipulative selfcentered, weak person who only wanted her son without having to work for it. I hope Trishna does not turn out to be the same.
From where I stand...No one is going to point any fingers at RK for Ballu partly because he was unaware of Ballu's identity and partly because he staked his life to save Madhu. Trishna on the other hand not only knew what she was doing but also made a decision to hide the truth. She will end up losing Madhu/RK's respect and Shamsher's trust. I cannot see Roma forgiving her- The big question is where will Trishna stand when her mentor walks away from her and family sidelines her.
If Trishna does turn out to be dark, Roma might play quite a bit of role in her life.
