Episode 177 Discussion: 24th Jan 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Episode 177 Discussion - EOD Summary

Padmini-Shamsher ki shaadi mein Ballu deewana. Balraj Hungama Starts in RK Action Film.

Events of the episode

Roma is caught by Balraj and held captive by his men at Ratna Studios. Balraj and his men then leave the premises to attend Padmini-Shamsher's wedding. At the chawl, everyone is getting ready for the marriage in peace as Roma has told them that she will reach the marriage venue by herself after running the errands that she set out to finish.
Trishna and Madhu are dressed and then later get Padmini and Shamsher ready for the marriage. Padmini and Shamsher as the Dulha-Dulhan look great. Must watch seen. See the poster below by Zorica, how the daughers are getting the mother ready and how the bride and groom look beautiful.
The daughters and the parents reach the marriage venue over City outskirts. Cannot describe the set. People need to watch the episode to check the set creation and decoration. The 4 Bhatias reach the marriage venue in another car. Madhu receives them. There are no other Baaraatis except the close family members. Only workers present at the venue, who later are shown to be as thugs of Balraj who have tied up real workers.
Madhu then tries contacting Roma and RK who are the only ones missing from near family. Wonder why Bittuji is not present. Roma is unreachable. But RK calls her. Madhu discloses to RK that her mother was apprehensive as she dreamt that the Shaitan is back to avenge himself. RK asks her to tell all and ends knowing that Madhu's real dad's name is Balraj Singh Choudhary, who is none other the producer he appointed for producing Trishna's movie.
Here at the Mandap, Balraj comes dressed as the Dulha himself and takes everyone as hostage to his drama. Shamsher, who had set out to protect Padmini is helplessly tied in ropes when he relents to Balraj's threat of shooting down Padmini.

Action drama continues 😆

A grand Shaadi ka Venue arranged WITH NO BAARAATI from bride or groom's sides. Very Private Ceremony with close relatives only. Why O Why? Because RK is a superstar and everything related should be away from Public eyes. That's one explanation I can give to a lavish set minus none of Padmini and Shamsher's close friends absence from the mandap, including their close friend Sudhakar or Divakar from the chawl. The other reason could be that Venue had that grand set up for Balraj and his Baaraat. 😆

Roma is ambushed just as I expected. What purpose she has now. Well she is left and Bittuji is left. So I guess these two are the ones who will bring the Police later on.

Padmini and Shamsher as the Dulha-Dulhan were really looking beautiful. Kala teeka laga doon taaki koi nazar na lage. Sigh!!! Madhu and Trishna did not think of and see Balraj ki buri Nazar lag gayi. 🤢 But the way Padmini and Shamsher looked at each other at the car, awesome. I liked it very much. 😊❤️ Later when Shamsher went to defend Padmini, that anger was pleasure to watch. 😆

So the dream has a significance attached. Hmmm! everything gets attached ti RK. So BSC sent flowers to Trishna at his residence because he can know Trishna is hiding about heroine offer. Now Padmini dreams about BSC so that Madhu can tell RK about Balraj and RK can know how they have landed in soup. 😆...Hmmm!! Chalo I will take it in the name of entertainment.

And why were Trishna and Madhu not pulling Balraj's (the unknown man's) hands off their mother when he was touching her face, instead of shouting their lungs out. Such a filmy scene...yelling and doing nothing because they have to wait for hero to rescue the damsels in distress. They just need to yell more in challenging dialogue deliveries.

And the most interesting character of the day was SIKKY. Wohooo!!!! 🥳He called Dips..."You are also a Chawl-waali" and I brought such an expensive Baaraat to your Chawl. He also called his father that he can find kinship in Padmini and Shamsher as they too are getting remarried like you and Mummiji. 🤣 It was hilarious and soothing for me to listen to his verbatim. Dips and Kuku never expected that.

Again I enjoyed the episode. Emotionally I was involved, until Sikky made me LOL and then I again quitened down only to raised heartbeats after Balraj started giving all eerie feelings with that no-talk barging in inebriated condition. It was enough to send me shiver down the spine...making me think from groom and bride standpoint...what is the meaning of this ???

what a fab. episode..👏 aha ha ha ha! had so much fun watching it...i knew the actual epi. will be much better..

Roma was captured...good..she'll be safe coz otherwise biwi aur pati aaram se stairs par discussion nahi kar rahe hote 😆

why isn't Padmini ready? it's her wedding and she's busy doing these chores n doing nakhra to get ready?? 🤣 n from where do they find these antique songs for her? "dulhan bani hai banni aaj banno shehzadi"... she's not a "banni", she's "mummy" 😆 same with Malik..roaming around like it's just another day...finally the family is ready to leave for the venue ! aur bhatia paltan bhi aa gayi on time ! cool !

first tell me, whatz so exiting and picturesque about that lake wala ujda hua jungle type place jaise ke Taj Mahal saamne aa gaya? whoever sees it is ☺️ like swarg mein aa gaye...first MB & Co. then Bhatia & Co..Dips bhi getting jealous? i can't believe ! ITNE paise kharch kar diye RK ne? ITNE saare? few crores may be ?? 🤢

i love the Bhatia nautanki..they r full on entertainment...Sikky was in full form today 🤣 "tum bhi toh chawl se aayi ho" 👍🏼"mere bhi baap ki do do shadi, meri ma ki do shadi aur ab madhubala ki ma ki do do shadi..same pinch" 🤣

my fav. scene had to be Madhu-RK convo AHAN ! Balraj Singh Chaudhary..he recognized him haaayeee super duper intelligent of my hero...Madhu's filmi dialogues were cute .."tum ho toh main hoon"..abhi yest. only he was asking her not to say all this "tum meri main tumhara" type kuchi muchi dialogues 🤣 haan..which pati likes to hear them? specially shadi ke baad 🤔 she will keep karvachauth for him every year and they will be together forever

Ballu singh ki baarat finally reached it's destination...a few faltu comments frm here n there..everybody shocked...what kind of shadi was it BTW? no guests no population around? 😕

precap was super cool..i love Madhu's confidence..mere pati ka naam RK hai "Rishabh Kundra" 🥳what attitude man..i'm impressed...friday n saturday will be fun...

PS i read tht they spent 25 lakhs on this sequence...couldn't they arrange better clothes for the dancers? 🤢

i'm surprised nobody saw the guns 😲 all of them were smiling 🤣 if anything, i'm looking forward to Sikky's running commentary, IF they show him in the next 2 days..both he and Dips wanted to slip away 😆

After first few minutes they observed the guns and that's when they became panic-stricken.

In some marriages, people go with Swords...socha hoga...bandook bhi chalega shaadi ke naam pe 🤣

Anyways guys, my sincere apologies for posting the 177 thread in Chat forum. So now you can see, how much I stay away from MB forum, but stick to threads that mean something to me. 😆. I accidentally clicked New Topic from a wrong thread. Sorry for the delay and confusion it caused. I posted the correct link in the previous ED thread as well.

Very nice analysis.I was waiting for this. Sikki made my day. I am happy with todays episode because of him. I always wanted to know dipali's background, because obviously she taunts MB. I think she forgot her BG which Sikki reminded her today 👏.

Every body looked nice today. Paddy is really beautiful in that outfit. Nothing much to say. You said it beautifully.

Padmini looked simply stunning in her bridal avatar. Betiyon ne khub sajaya hai maa ko. Very cute scene but Padmini looks apprehensive.
Maliks, Bhatias, Kundras and Chaudharis are all mingling in one shadi ka mandap lekin Roma bichari ko Ballu ne pakad liya.

Shouldn't shadi be conducted indoors? Why did they choose the location outdoors in khuli hava near the water? Is it because no venue was available at such short notice? You know that Natraj studio would have been the perfect place for this. Why didn't RK think of that? Apni khud ki shadi bhi udhar hi karata. Did anyone see Bittuji in that crowd? He wasn't with the Bhatias nor was he in RK's car.

Everyone is waiting for Roma and RK to arrive. Another volley of dialogues today between RK and Madhu. Madhu sachhi mein bohot filmy hoti ja rahin hai. In her phone call with RK, she reveals her father's full name and it hits RK like a ton of bricks. He connects the dots really rapidly. He is stunned by this turn of events. Hey bhagvan anjane mein yeh meine kya kar diya? I hope the first thing he does is call the police to the shadi ka venue just in case.

Banke Ballu Bawla is in full form. A total nutcase. Holding a gun in one hand and daru ki bottle in another he just charges from Pahilvan to his Chaudharain and vinashbala. Soch raha hai pehle kis ki khabar lu? Biwi ya Beti? The way he caresses Padmini's cheek is just too good. The best actor in this bunch.

Precap - Ballu ke gunde kar rahen hein RK ki marammat. Why does Madhu inform Ballu that RK aka Rishabh Kundra is her pati? Ballu ko ki farak painda? RK hai filmon ka superstar, koi bada police officer ya koi local mafia nahin.

Run Roma Run...I keep silently urging her, but her shock immobilized her and she got caught. Balraj is one other intelligent character just like RK who has planned his wife's wedding so beautifully, that Roma is just something to be swatted.Poor thing! But she will escape and get the police, I think.
Loved the scene where the two girls get their mom ready. As a woman and a daughter, i felt very touched and emotional about it. They admired their mother, as she got ready and she did look stunning. So did Shamsher Malik. What a super jodi!!

Bhatias and Maliks, and one Kundra reach the venue on time. i thought the chawl guys were in all their finery dressed to go for the wedding. Maybe they will all come withe police and Roma. After all, 20 years ago, they must have been witness to Balraj's madness.

Convo between RK-Madhu ...adorable and so comfortable. She tells him about her mom's dream and mentions BSC's full name . He immediately figures out the connection and the imminent danger but too late I guess, he is going to get beaten up🤢

Balraj arrives...I must admit, the scene was totally different when one compared it to the actual shoot. Today there was a madness around Balraj and his men. All drunk and dancing with guns. They looked debauched and dangerous. And the coup was so complete, noone could even figure out what was happening till his henchmen surrounded them with guns and he pointed his gun at Padmini. SO yes, well done, team MB, day 1 looked good😊

(They really need to stop giving out too much info, in between I was trying to figure where they would've spent 25 lakhs!!). Then I thought...so many extras...the wedding set, mandir set, and they must've shot so much and edited so much to give us these 20 mins. I must add, the extras were terrific...they looked crazy and totally thug types themselves. THey were not just prop men like the extras usually are.

Pre-cap - Balraj reveals himself. Trishna looked at him as if she was seeing him for the first time!! RK getting beaten up while Madhu proclaims herself as RK's wife, so Balraj had better watch out.

I liked:
Sikky today was in full form...while explaining the whole do shaadi wala connection, he says RK ki maa, when Kukku glares at him, he changes it to mummyji...so while RK thought Radha was on Bhatia's side, Sikky thought of her as RK's mom because she was always pining for him. Does anyone ever think of Sikky bechara and his life?? No? He also did not have a mother and Radha obviously must never have filled that vacuum for him. Though when the men surrounded them her first thought was for Sikky.
I also liked it when he tells DIps that she's from a chawl herself. 😆
So Madhu is actually a chaudhrain and Dips is actually a chawlwalli. Gave me some cheap thrills. 😆
