RK walked up ten flight of stairs to torture himself for staying quite. You should have put her in her place, he reprimanded himself looking down at the corpse of his maroon necktie. A mysterious package lay outside his doorstep with an equally mysterious note addressed to the owner of the home.

"You were in dire need of a suit. What you are wearing does not count".

His last shred of dignity had been torn. That was it, mercy went out the window. She had packed the outfit from their last encounter. He had had enough. Now, he was going to play all his cunning tricks to seal this lady problem.

She sat in the lone corner of a country club, secluded from the questioning eyes of the outside world. Unlike the regulars who drowned their sorrows in alcohol, she had taken up sketching.

"May I take a look?" Her three piece suit had arms, legs and a voice that complemented the elegant attire.

She turned the drawing pad in his direction. One couldn't quite make out what the artwork represented. A raging bull, with fangs and a face freakishly close to RK's?

"I see I am very much hated".

She snatched the sketch back into her possession and spoke softly, "I want McNeal's. I will let go of the five billion in exchange".

"The company is worth more. You think I was born yesterday?"

"If I file for divorce, there will be bigger losses. Your boss may have forgotten to mention, I am the CEO and fifty one percent shareholder in all his enterprises".

A nervous thought crossed his mind. He told me fifty. In the grand scheme of things, one percent made all the difference. His job shifted from claiming victory on a won battle to saving an old man's ass. How could Michelle be so stupid? RK had no choice but to sleep with her. "Why aren't you filing for divorce?" He let his thoughts slip out uncensored.

"I want him erased out of my life".

"Annulment accepted and a ten million dollar cheque on me". He seemed to have played a cruel joke on Madhubala.

"I build McLean's from the ground up", she crumbled the paper to vent her frustrations.

"Michelle thanks you for that. Now, what do you say we sign and get this over with?"

"My original offer still stands. Insult me one more time and I walk".

"Chatty today, aren't we?"

She paced into private quarters as RK followed close behind.

"Get it over with", she pulled his hand on her waist. "This is what you want".

Let me out of this prison, she almost said out loud.

He tightened his grip on her waist and let his hands explore her nape. Then, something stopped him. She does want this. This is wrong. He pulled himself back.

"I will talk to Michelle", he struggled keeping his composure. She lazily handed him the his belongings as they walked out together; him in his clumsiness and her in denial of the day's events.
