watching yesterday's episode,i'm sure everyone here must be pleased to see rishbala trying to unite the two souls in love but r in denial.

but all of a sudden a grave question is banging on the doors of my mind that isn't it an interference in other's personal matters?

well,of course rishabala-the new gen wants their parents to be happy forever, wants them to realise n accept their selfless love, sacrifice for each other.

but on the other hand,i feel even if shammo=paddy accept their love for each other, they should not be FORCED to marry if they don't want to.

i guess this is the very SERIOUS problem the present old gen facing from the new gen when the new gen try to encroach into the private matters of their parents taking them granted that they would simply follow it without any resistance as they have been doing since their new gen's childhood.

the old gen feels sand-witched as they neither wanna hurt their kids nor wanna accept completely as their children want them to do.

i know,MBEIEJ is a ficton and i need not go so much deep.in fact,i would be very happy to see shammo-paddy marriage taking place but still...
...could not stop thinking of this question...

Yaar, samay ka paiyaa hai - it's the wheel of time.

Always you'll find someone or the other interefeing in others' matters. The older generation used to do this - study what I tell you, marry whom I approve, limits and restrictions on everything.

Once the younger generation grows in confidence - they start meddling in elders' affairs. It's just a matter of 'iss ghar mein kiska chalta hai.'

That's the way life is. Talking in general, not MB specific.

Had the same thought while watching the epi..Both RishBala and Paddy-Shammo are right in their views...RishBala want Paddy-Shammo's happiness(I will call them PaLik here..It's difficult to write Paddy-Shammo all the time! )and PaLik are the old generation and they are more accustomed to the old society restrictions than RishBala...So it's difficult for them to accept it that easily...I'm quite ok with both sides..RishBala is from the new gen and it's obvious for them to force PaLik...And PaLik's reaction on the other hand is also justified!Well...my point PaLik shaadi and their dilemma is not that easy as it seems! :)

coz they r only living for their children without thinking about themselves n their life n hence ShamIni needs pushing. .so that they can actually think out of box n out of their kids...just I felt...

but again it's there in some movies too n MB being poori filmy we will tend to get such scenes

but if I keep my POV apart..it's NYC post dear
