After almost 2weeks of trauma n fight we lost a girl who is victim of gang rape...but till now no news about what government n police r doing with criminals n case...

but along with her conditions in newspapers there are many more columns about gang rapes n abuses on all age of girls...n the worst part is even a girl below 4 died out of rape two or three days back in Bihar or Gujarat. ..n many more such brutal incidents which r even shame to talk ...

but after many brutal truths n news we read in papers n news daily . ..though many we already know but still it always make me feel why should I have to b a girl in such a place n society. ..where victims r criminals n criminals r royals. .

we r living in a place which has the the worst every society n worst ever law..n saddest part is the country our people feel proud about culture n ethics is nothing but false facade n hypocracy. ..where they say women r worshipped but in reality that worship starts n stops in bed n using her as a sex object...nothing less nothing more..90% this is the condition rest r lucky enough to b out of this...

PLZ..WE FEMALES R AS HUMANS AS MEN...LET US ALSO LIVE IN PEACE N HAPPY ... WE WANT TO B TREATED AS PER OUR FEELINGS NOT BY BODY. ..

males r made strong to save his women be it mother, sisters, lover, girlfriend, wife, daughter or any other...not to use it against them for their bodily animalistic pleasures. ..

Is it ever possible for females to live without fear? ?

*Edited**

if a girl cheats a boy...she is blamed. .its understandable. ..
but the worst part is if she ie been cheated . .she will b blamed for not being cautious. .
if she is raped she is blamed for that as if she willing to...if it's case then how will it b called rape? ? it's just sex...

n the even worst part waste victims being pointed out for their dressing n their behaviour n them roaming on roads that led to the crime(this was actually shown in some mid-aged movies n also talked by one politician recently n taken back coz of the fear) ...but what's their answer about the victims who r kids, housewives, fully dressed females? ? who r sleeping peacefully in their homes n playing in their parkings? ?

I heard about her passing.
I cried. Full out. She didn't deserve it.
She was probably happy, smiling...little did she know that a group of monstrous, disgusting, ill-minded men would make her life come to an end.
Kay, crying again.
May she RIP.

Anyways, I don't live in India, I feel India has more of a threat of that happening than Canada. But I still am always extra cautious when I go out. I make sure to never be alone.

The fact that girls are scared to go out alone now a days...It's just wrong. Should've never come down to that in the first place.

I'm the type of girl who doesn't like to speak her opinion on things online. But when I heard about this case. It just shook me.
Still shocked.

An outsider's two cents
The laws, or whatever I know of them, are archaic. They need evolve with the times.
Efforts need to be made to encourage victims to report. eg. A hotline where sexual harassment can be reported anonymously (tried and tested elsewhere).
Most importantly, MEN ARE NOT SAVAGES. Let us do away with the idea of victim shaming. Avoid any prevalent attitudes that contribute to rape culture. Harsh punishment is but a temporary solution. The societal outlook toward women needs a change.

Mind you, I do not live in India so, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Things are getting worse for girls/women in India.
The atrocities against women are increasing more and more.
People have to remember that ordinary girls, women travel by bus, metro, auto, cab etc. They have to do this because it is their way of life. They can't get stuck in one place due to extreme fear of what men may do to them.
The Elite Girls/Women will have security and someone who is always there to look out for them when they go out. They are the few privileged lot.
Is it the fault of women/girls to travel by bus, train, metro, taxi etc. ? How can the girl figure out that a problem (evil men) is ready to destroy her. Some Men are taking advantage and destroying girl's lives.
Those people who committed this crime against the girl should be given the toughest punishment ever.
The punishment should be such that those men who are evil shoud get fear of harming women.
Fear of getting punished should be so humongous that they will be careful and not even think of harming innocent women.
New rules have to be written that such men who destroy women's life will face death. This process should be done immediately and a woman and her family should not wait for years together to get justice.
But when will this happen ? No body knows.

I too never talked such things but the way this news is running in media n internet...n even then lack of response by government n police n the same crimes happening in all sides of the country this made me really think how will b the fate of girls. ..

n yep...she don't deserves it..infact no girl deserves to b I'll treated or abused but the saddest thing is it's happening everywhere..everyday. .every hour..n every part of the world

yep u r so true that the law n punishments r to b changed as per the current days n situation but...no coz it will affect the Richie rich n politicians. ..so they r kept same from ages. ..n the worst part is even after the crime which is worse than murder the law gives the punishment of penalty n jail...
