Not in my opinion .
Living with Padmini and Shamsher for over 20 yrs , she knows theres a lot of respect bw the two . She probably never even thought there could be anything else . Anything else suggested ( especially by the same person who once insulted their relationship publicly) will be deemed offensive unless she herself
realizes theres nothing wrong with it . Think of it this way , she finds their rishta 'pavitra' , something that does not need a stamp of approval by the society . When RK suggested marriage , she probably thought he *or others* deem it as apavitra only because theyr living under one roof hence the reaction which is perfectly normal .
