I have IBS also known as IBD so if the condition is very severe than I might have to undergo a surgery .

Coincidently, Hank Green posted a video on a closely related topic. He has Ulcerative Colitis and is managing pretty well. I know IBD is way different. But, thought it might help. Check it out:
