Madhubala's story is truly tragic! She didn't die of a broken heart but she died because she had a heart problem! I think there was a hole in her heart which caused her to vomit blood! Still her life story is tragic! Even with all the fame, money and a variety of men chasing after her, Madhubala was left helpless and alone when she passed away!...I really hope that they make the ending a happy one instead of it being all depressing in MEIEJ! 😕

I had no idea about the story...thanks for this info.

SOOO in DEPRESSION rt now...now i won't be able to watch the serial without thinking this at the back of my head every episode...

if it actually did start to follow this tragic story i am rlly afraid that i might drop the serial. (which i really don't want to...) it's just that i can't see this horrible dark tragic love story.

i think on star plus they had tried to have a serial with initially a trgic or star-crossed lover story (with shaleen banhot...) and it failed.

I rlly hope rllly rlllyyy rllly hope this doesn't come true. but the problem is that trishna had to curse madhu, her life, and love. I hope they show that the person would have to be worthy/true enough for their curse to work/ or is just superstition.

what's funny is that i won't even be able to see Avinash Rekhi becoming that mean/brutal like KK with dhrashti.

man...this is just too upsetting...excuse me while i go into acute depression :(

Where did you read/see that the story has a tragic ending? The producers are committing suicide if they think they can get away with a tragic ending in a daily soap!! I'm sure it won't be tragic...at worst, Madhu may end up with someone else (which I doubt too, but you never know). I think everyone in the TV industry knows the recent fiasco with another serial when they tried to change the lead. No, RK-Madhu will endure, and most probably have a happy ending (maybe not this week, but after a year or two 😉).

Re: the DK-MB story basis, the producers and actors have vehemently denied this. But some of the situations and story does seem similar, they seem to be "inspired" by that story at least :)

therez one huge diff. in the real and reel life story..one, a movie can have a tragic beginning, and ending but not a daily soap...here, Madhu is married to RK , until and unless they decide to consider it null and void automatically bec. of the 4 phere nonsense ! secondly, Madhu marrying the villain ?? 😲 MBEIEK will lose each one of it's viewers if it's gonna happen..so another RK for her who will ruin her life and dump her like trash? 🤢 this funda is never gonna work for a daily soap..

on a negative note, the channel itself is sadist...and they have the habit of dragging the negative tracks to eternity..be it BV or Uttaran, Kairi or laado...if MB goes that way, i'll be the first one to quit !

the similarities people hv pointed out has also been relevant and i liked how they made many changes irrespectv of that...nd i really salute them how they hv progressed the story so far...but I M very much sure CVs Are not going the DK MBALA tragic way for the 3 lettr word TRPS...nd for the 1st tym i m glad TRPs r there...lolzzz...the mkers hv seen the worst TRPs. ...even the blow when the shw was abt to go off air by Aug...the shw reached top 3 in Trps banking on Rishabaala ALONE nd its not unknwn to them...by the REAL Dk MB story it seems they hv more time of separation than luvstory but CVS CAN NEVR RISK IT...biggest example MB MUKUnD track BROUGHT ZERO ratings...THE BIGGEST DEVIATION cvs made frm the Original Story is getting RK MADHU MARRIED...cvs knw this Wedding Saved their shw frm Shutting...so i M SURE they Wont play with it by mking Madhu get Married to some1 else...the 3rd angle is brought jus to add spice BUT not to play Kishore Kumar...in Daily Soaps SCRIPTS CHANGE on DAIlLY BASIS based on ratings and demand...SO WHEN CVS knw it so well that. epi...people hv started predicting its ending as well which i found really stupid...i saw the same pessimistic nature when people were panicking unnecessarily over the SO CALLED SEPARATION of Rk sending MB to the chawl on the basis of a mere article whereas in Reality it was jus a 2 DAY separation nd that also Rk himself left MB there to mk her feel gud...it was a sweet track but i hv seen people here crying n cribbing for it reading the MISLEADING article for wks...nd history seems to b repeating again...NOW also people r mking all types of TRAGIC tracks possible ruining the atmosphere of the forum...so i jus wanted to put a full stop to the negativity for gud
