Part 1:
As Madhu assists RK, he momentarily stops, looking over his shoulder he addresses the family, "I know you don't care that I'm back, I don't need fake sympathies. No one except Madhu, Bittuji and the doctor are allowed to enter my room."
Madhu looks up at him to talk, but shuts her mouth when he glares at her.
Both of them slowly make their way up. Reaching their room, Madhu helps RK on to the bed, tears still in her eyes.
RK uses his working hand and cups her face, "Biwi, no worries, its only a gash on my leg and one arm. I'm sure I'll be able to be back on my foot soon."
"What happened RK?" asks a worried Madhu.
"Well, I wanted to ride a motorbike to your place, but when I was coming, a kid was crossing the street out of no wear, I try to stop but I couldn't. So I had to turn, but I lost control of the bike and it jammed into a tree."
"Why were ..." but before Madhu could finish, Bittuji came in with the doctor.
The doctor examined the wounds on his arm and legs.
"Its nothing serious. But where you wearing a helmet when you were riding our motorbike ?" questions the doctor.
"I am RK, the superstar.I don't ..." noticing Madhu's mortified look, he realizes its better to tell the truth then have to face Madhu. "Yes I was doctor."
"Well, I have looked over your health records, it would be nice to have a thorough check up at the hospital."
"But..." before RK could finish, Madhu speaks up, "Don't worry doctor, I'll personally make sure to bring him to your office tomorrow. If you can arrange a time with Bittuji, that would be great."
RK starts smirking. My Madhu. Just the way I love her. Only if she knew what I had planned for her. I guess today's not the time for it. The smirk on RK's face slowly diminishes as he sees his Biwi's anger rising. Oh no, I'm in for it.
After the doctor treated RK's wounds, he left promptly with Bittuji.
As soon as the they left, Madhu turned around to RK. If this was a cartoon, you would of seen steam pouring out of her nose.
"What were you thinking? Just because you're actor, doesn't mean you can pull off stunts! What would of happened if something bad had happened?" Madhu moves closer, sits on the bed, and starts shaking his body "How could you do this to me?"
RK pulls Madhu into a hug. At first, Madhu tries to pull out, but was at no match to RK's upper body strength. She gives in and starts crying on his chest.
"I almost lost you once. I can't lose you again"
RK starts rubbing her back and tries to console her, "Madhu, don't worry. The doctor said I'm all right didn't he?"
He pulls her back and cups her face, her hands on his chest, "Madhu, My Biwi" he wipes her tears with his thumbs, "Don't stress your self like this. Nothing happened to me, and I'll try my best to avoid situations like this, but things can't be stopped. Its not my fault that kid came. I did my best to avoid hitting the kid and the kid was not harmed."
Madhu sticks out her hand, "promise me that you will not ride your motorbike again"
RK giggles and puts his hand on top of hers, "I promise I wont go as fast as I was. I was rushing to get to your house, if I drove a tad slower, I could of avoided the situation. Anyways, I was hoping we could go out on the motorbike once I get better"
"I'm never getting on that thing" pouts Madhu
OMG, she looks so cute when she pouts like that. Those lips, so pink, so kissable...
RK's thoughts get interrupted when Madhu waves her hand in front of his face.
I wish I can kiss her now, but if I do, that's taking 5 steps back when we've just taken 3 steps forward. She's been sitting here without getting nervous about our closeness.
Madhu places her hand on his forehead, "RK are you all right?"
Getting back from his thoughts, "Why Biwi?"
"I've been calling your name for the past 5 minutes, and you haven't responded."
"ohh... I was just thinking."
"Thinking about what?"
RK moves forward towards her ear, while Madhu realizes how close they have been sitting, and he whispers, "That's a surprise."
RK moves back and chuckles at Madhu's flustered face.
Why does he do this to me? One second he pisses me off, and the next he makes my stomach erupt with butterflies.
Madhu's thoughts get interrupted when Bittuji walks in. She immediately gets up to be stopped by RK. He pulls her down and nods his head, telling her to stay put.
"Bhabhi ji, I've booked the appointment for 9 o'clock in the morning. Is that ok with you?"
"Uhh... Yes Bittuji. That time should be alright."
"Bittuji, bring dinner for me and Biwi to our room. I want to eat here."
"Yes, chief" says Bittuji, with a small smile on his face, knowing his chief and bhabhiji are finally happy together.
When Bittuji left, Madhu turned around to face RK once again. That's when she saw it. His face having a calm smile. His eyes displaying admiration and pure love. He loves me. I can see it in his eyes. Why do I have to be the first to confess that I love him. He is an actor, let's see how he's going to tell me. I hope he does it soon, cause I can't wait to tell him how much I love him. How butterflies flutter in my stomach every time he glances at me when he thinks I don't notice, every time he calls me Biwi every time he says my name.
Madhu starts blushing even more when RK scrunches up his eyebrows, asking her through his eyes, Whats wrong?
Their perfect moment gets interrupted by a servant with dinner for the two.
"Just leave it on the bed, I'll get it" says Madhu, a bit upset that their private moment got interrupted. I need to get a lock on that door.
Madhu tries to get up, to realize her hands are in RK's hands.
"Um, RK?"
"Yes Madhu"
"I thought we are going to have dinner"
"Yea, so what about it?"
"Well, if your holding my hands," she lifts their hands in front of his face, "I think you need to let go of my hands"
With a little disappointment, RK lets go of her hands. Madhu reaches over and gets a hold of the tray and places it on her lap. She starts to feed RK a spoon, when they giggle, thinking about when she first fed him and when he did the same back to her.
When Madhu gives RK a second morsel of food, he holds her hand and directs it to her mouth. Both feed each other, with Madhu's hand on the spoon and his on top of hers. After finishing dinner, Madhu gives RK to drink water. He drinks about halfway, before giving to her, but before he gives it to her, he turns the glass so she can drink from where he drank from.
Madhu blushes and drinks the water. She gets up and heads to the door. She calls for a servant and gives them the tray. She locks the door behind her. No more distractions
With a grin on her face, she goes back into the bedroom to see RK already for bed. She gets ready for bed and lays down.
"Biwi" calls out RK.
Madhu turns around, "Yes RK? Do you need anything?"
After removing a few pillows on top, RK reaches over and grabs her hand and places it in the middle. He closes his eyes and goes to sleep with a smile on his face.
"What are you doing RK?"
"What do you mean? I'm holding my Biwi's hand. Do you have a problem with it?" questions RK, opening just one eye to see her reaction.
Madhu tries to respond, but decides not to say anything. This feels nice.
With a content smile on both of their faces, they both fall asleep with their hearts filled with love and care for one another.
Next Morning
Madhu gets up in the morning and tries to get out of bed to realize that RK was still holding her hand. He's so cute when he's a sleep. Like a little boy.
Trying her best not to wake him up, Madhu pries his hand off hers and gets up with morning activities.
Madhu heads down to help with the breakfast preparation. Radha walks in, with a worried face wondering what happened to RK the prior night, but seeing Madhu's smile, her fears subsided.
"Madhu, is RK alright? What happened last night?"
"Good morning Ma. RK is alright. It's a long story. He was on his way to my house when ..." Madhu gets interrupted with RK yelling from the top of the stairs.
"BIWI! Come upstairs right now!"
"I wonder what happened now" asks a worried Radha.
"Don't worry Ma, I can handle it." replies Madhu with a smile on her face.
Her smile falters as she climbs the stairs noticing RK's bad temper. I wonder what happened to RK.
