What do I know any pain...I want a list. I know pain level is dependent on perception and most of the time its mind over body. Most peoples pain threshold maybe higher than yours. No need for attitude. What do I know any pain I ask. I know a lot more than u miss. Besides I don't have much like for Nhs, I prefer to go private.
1stly pain perception is not mind over body its the way centres in ur brain perceive it. The research especially the most recent breakthrough in brain mapping says so. Other factors influence the pain one perceives i.e psychological factors such as stress, anxiety & depression, environmental factors such as noise, light etc. Past experiences also influence the pain one feels. And this is not mind over body but these factors can cause release of certain chemicals in your body which can increase ones pain levels. Similarly when one is happy or relaxed body releases endorphins which help with pain. Same as when one gets a massage for example.
2ndly this post was not just aimed at u but others too who wrote about pain and IVs. I am not the one showing attitude you are. And your comments & posts prove that. You might go privately for your treatment but you forget that most of the people who work privately also work in the NHS. And most successful pain management programmes are run by NHS hospitals eg UCL or Bath etc.
Lastly you are not the only one who can criticise someone. I felt that the way this scene of RK feeding Madhu was not shot well so there that's my opinion. You felt CVs made Madhu over act I feel CVs make RK act woodenly in many scenes. If you don't have the humbleness to take on criticism of your posts or the character you admire you should avoid posting about other characters as well. As you are probably aware that as human beings we will all have different opinions. And if you feel you are free to express yours, i am free to do so too. Simple!!!
PS: on 2nd reading my question about what do you knw about pain did sound a bit attitudinal and it wasn't meant that way. But I do not take back anything from the opinion I have expressed above either.
