RK has witnessed the failure of the vrat kept by him mom for so many years...the fast couldnt save his father...may be thats why he doesnt believe in the fast..its not that he links everything with his fathers death...

RK is going to carry this baggage with him for the rest of his life.His father's death and his mother's marriage and Deepali's betrayal has caused him big heart break so his always going to carry that emotional baggage.

I TO DISAAPOINTED WITH RK ATTITUDE

More often that not, childhood shapes the life of an individual. What seems like a petty incident to adults might hold significance to the child. One does not have to go through sexual abuse for the incidents to overpower their life. It can be anything really, just anything that held emotional significance at the time. If grief is not channelled properly, it come out in negative ways. That is the case with RK. He did not get the support system or the closure he needed following his father's death. Even if the mother did not know the reason for his death, just letting out a few loud cries, engaging the child in remembering the passing and paying attention to him would have nipped the issues in the bud. RK has a valid reason to be angry at the world. According to him, he was treated unfairly by everyone. I think he is not wrong just he takes it out the wrong person.

At the same time rk should understand madhu's felings nd passions behind all this rituals too..I used to think that he knows her feelings for him but I was wrong..

It is natural for Rk to carry this baggage. Afterall his marriage is just few months old whereas his pain is years old. ...How can he suddenly forget everything?
