I think he'll remember Madhu saying "jab tum samne hote ho...dil...kuch kuch hone lagtha hai...jaise..." etc. and then her joke about the jacket. I think'll he'll connect the both and then he'll run back for her because he'll realize she didn't just keep the fast for absolutely no reason like Dipali and Radha. She kept the fast for a reason, she truly wants her husband to have a long life, she put her heart and everything into it.

pritt i think the first one as i said in another topic i made madhu was telling what she felt in the heart but because of fear of rejection she made a joke about the jacket
