He waited outside her dressing room. Leaning against the wall beside her door.

The door began to finally open slowly. He straightened up and saw her face. Madhu, covered in make-up to hide the puffiness of her eyes.

She didn't once let her eyes meet his. She opened the door and was just about to walk past him when suddenly he grabbed her arm. He pulled her in front of him against the wall. He placed both his hands on the sides of her head just as he had done the day in the dressing room.

She looked up at him with her widened eyes as he looked down at her with a serious look.

"People are stari'" she began to speak as she looked around him and noticed eyes on them.

"I don't care what people see or think. You're going to tell me what's wrong. And that too right now."

"You can't be so demanding. I don't HAVE to tell you anything Rishabh."

"At least tell me where Rish disappeared too," he asked about his nickname.

"You tell me'" she spoke sternly and then ducked under his arm and ran towards Karan.

Rishabh watched her run away as he tried to comprehend what she meant. Rish is still here, he thought to himself.

He figured she was upset about the previous night and how he had told her that she smells.

He continued to watch Madhu as she spoke to Karan. Suddenly Karan threw his script into the air.

Rishabh rushed over to Madhu and Karan.

"What's wrong Karan?"

"Why don't you ask your girlfriend?!"

"Gir'"

"I'm not his girlfriend," Madhu corrected Karan.

Karan looked at the both of them furiously.

"Something is going on between the two of you. You two better fix it or you'll have to suffer the consequences. Understand? I give you both 24 hours. Or you're both FIRED!"

"WHAT?!" Rishabh stared at Karan shocked and confused.

Rishabh looked towards Madhu who also seemed shocked.

"What did you say or ask Madhs?!"

"It's Madhu. All I said was no more romantic scenes."

"What'why'"

"Yeah, ask her. Ask her why she refuses to do the upcoming scenes," Karan grew more furious.

"Was it because I said you sme'"

"NO, no, that's not it. It's nothing!"

The show was just about to take a romantic turn and one of Karan's leads refused to play the part. He stormed away as Madhu and Rishabh watched.

Rishabh turned to stare at Madhu with a look full of anger.

"Listen to me. I don't know what your problem is. But whatever it is, keep it personal and don't let it come in the way of your'OUR jobs. Keep it off screen. Honestly, I'm not losing my job because of you."

"Oh shut up'please'" she spoke with a shaky voice as tears formed in her eyes.

Suddenly she turned and ran off. Rishabh watched her and was utterly confused.

He picked up the script on the ground and walked up to Karan who was still raging.

"Hey, sorry about that. Just give her a day off, she's probably stressing. Everything will be fixed by tomorrow, promise."

Karan looked at Rishabh and just nodded his head as he grabbed his script.

"Go fix it, whatever it is, right now," Karan demanded.

"I plan on it," said Rishabh as he followed Madhu out the door.

Note to readers: Also, sorry for the short update, I've actually given all three of my FFs updates right now and I wrote a new OS for Christmas. PMs will be sent out soon!

Rishabh knocked on her door but there was no response. He stood there for ten minutes; continuously ringing the bell and knocking at the door. He decided to text her

"Don't make me turn into Romeo and climb up to your room Madhs."

No response.

He went to sit in his car and waited another 15 minutes. Eventually he began honking his horn. Not even a minute passed, when Madhu finally opened her front door.

Rishabh got out of his car and walked towards her.

"What is your problem?! You're disturbing the neighbours," she looked at him angrily as he walked towards her.

"I'd disturb the entire world if you ignored me," he reached her and looked into her eyes with a serious look.

They locked eyes for a minute and then Madhu eventually looked away. She crossed her arms.

"Please, just go."

"Madhu...What did I do?"

"Nothing, go."

"I'm not leaving. And I'm not letting you leave me either."

Madhu looked at Rishabh. He placed his hands on both of her shoulders and she withdrew from his touch. She stepped back while staring at him and then she turned around. Just as she was about to run back into her house, she felt his hand gripping at hers. She closed her eyes as she felt him closing in on her from behind.

Just as she felt his chest brushing against her back, her heart started racing. She felt his breath coming closer and closer towards her ear, and then she heard him whisper.

"I said, I'm not letting you leave me," he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into him from behind.

"Rish…let…let me go…" she spoke nervously as her heart raced.

"Never," he whispered passionately.

Madhu pulled away from his grip and ran into her house and up the stairs. She left the door open behind her, inviting him in.

He followed her to her room and walked in. She was sitting on the edge of her bed looking down.

He closed the door behind himself and went to sit next to her.

"I'm sorry," she whispered.

Rishabh looked at her confused. He felt that if anyone was to say sorry, it should've been him.

"Will you please tell me what's wrong?" he questioned her.

"I…I don't know."

"How do you not know? You just ran out of the studio."

"I just, I don't feel good."

"What's wrong? Tell me. I'm here for you," he placed his hand on top of hers.

Rishabh watched as her eyes landed on their hands. She stared at them for a minute and then up at Rishabh.

"Don't do that," she said while pulling her hand away.

"What?" he asked confused.

"I know what's wrong," she stood from the bed and walked towards her window.

Madhu felt Rishabh's eyes on her. She turned to face him while he sat still on the edge of her bed.

"I…Well, you…"

"Just say it," Rishabh looked at her curiously.

"You make my heart go crazy…"

Rishabh began to smile as he listened to Madhu.

"And…But…I can't…I mean I can't fall for a co-star. I just can't!"

The smile from Rishabh's face vanished.

Madhu suddenly turned around, unable to face him anymore.

She heard him get off her bed. She had thought he would walk up to her, but as she turned, she saw him standing in her doorway with his back towards her.

"See you on set tomorrow," he spoke sternly and then walked out of her room.

Madhu watched him leave and then she fell to her knees.

What did I just do…she thought to herself as she burst into tears.
