Madhu was recalling the previous night, she had fainted on the floor and RK had come from work and lifted her and gave her water, breaking her fast, she had then performed the KC rituals and touched his feet.
RK said: He does not believe in these rituals and with good reason as look she fainted.
Madhu was awake the rest of the night thinking of the changes in RK since a few days past, he yelled at her at the studio set not wanting her to come there, he hardly wants to be around her, he sleeps on the sofa. She starts to think then why I'm I even here if he doesn't want to be with me?
In the morning as yet again RK was awake early and ready even before her and was leaving,
Madhu asked him: Are you going?
RK said: You can see I am, you stay Bittuji is here if you want anything tell him.
Madhu asks him: RK why do you want me to be in this house if you don't want to be with me, most of the time you are not here and when I come to the set to be with you, you tell me to get out.
RK says: I don't want to deal with this right now Biwi and walks out.
Madhu is disgruntled and thinks what to do next.
RK comes home late, after dark, he is sitting in this room learning his lines for the next day, Madhu was not there with him, he is wondering where is Biwi. As usual it was another tiring day on the set, and most of all when he had breaks he stopped himself from calling Biwi and now he is home and she is nowhere to be found. It's 9pm, and instead of going to search for her as his normal habit, he stops himself and says I will ask a servant first, he picks up his phone and rings the kitchen, perhaps she is making my dinner, they tell him she's not there, he calls for Bittuji.
RK asks: Bittuji do you know where Biwi is?
Bittuji tells him: Bhabhiji is in her old room doing some work.
RK is curious but doesn't go to check instead he prances around in the hallway outside the room she is in debating whether to enter or not, he decides to go back to his room, he checks her cupboard to see if her clothes are still in there and that she has not shifted into the other room permanently, he finds everything of hers in there, his looking at the clock it's just going after 10 pm (guys RK's dinner time is 10 pm as per the episode of the photo's dinner MB used to blackmail him to say sorry to Paddo) good it's my dinner time, she can't avoid me now, she will bring it for me, 10.05 nothing, 10.10 nothing, he gets up and starts calling.
RK shouts: Biwi, Biwwii, Biwwwiii
Finally he hears some footsteps, he has a huge angry smirk on his face, comes in Munna with a tray with his dinner.
RK asks: Where is Biwi?
Servant says she is in the next room. RK walks out angrily to the next room and walks in this time angrily with no hesitation, he finds Biwi with a pleasant expression on her face, calmly cutting some material for some dresses. 😆😛, not even looking at him. RK is taken aback by this, no reaction. Strangely on seeing her calm face he also calms down, and speaks in an even tone.
RK: Biwi you didn't hear me calling?
Madhu says: I heard, but I knew it was because you wanted your dinner so I sent you your dinner.
She looked up and smiled at him briefly and looked down again and carried on with her material cutting for her dress.
RK says: You had the whole day to cut your dresses, besides I buy for you dresses every month from designer in Mumbai, so there is no need for you to make your own dresses.
Madhu answers: I went to the shops to buy the materials during the day, so now I'm going to start the work for it tonight, I like making dresses from cotton besides I have lots of time these days so I might as well be useful.
RK asks her: Did she have her dinner?
Madhu says: Yes she had.
RK thinks what to do to get her out of that room. RK switches off the light,
RK says: Biwi come into the other room.
Madhu is scared of the dark, she says: RK switch on the light, how will I leave here with all these pins around (she intended to pin the dress after cutting), switch on the light so I don't prick my feet.
RK puts on the light, she grabs the material, scissors and the pin box and follows him. RK smirks and follows her to their room. Madhu goes directly to HER bed, moves all the pillows from the middle and puts them against the headboard, she is thinking what's the use of having them separating the bed like two people sleep there, it's only me I might as well enjoy the whole of the bed 😛😳.
RK sits on his new bed, the red sofa and is watching all of this, he was about to start eating his dinner, which was now lukewarm after so much time getting Madhu to come back into THEIR room. Madhu puts on the bedside lamps and is cutting the material yet again on the bed. RK is observing as he is spooning his dinner into his mouth, which he hates ever since Biwi doesn't feed him any more. RK notices Madhu is not looking at him, whilst he has been looking at nothing else but her.
RK says: Biwi I'm tired, all day working and this evening also I was working on my dialogues for tomorrow, come and feed me.
Madhu looks at him, and says: RK you can't lift up a spoon and feed yourself?
RK says: Feed myself, why? When I have Biwi to do for me.
Madhu comes and sits on the foot rest/stool takes the tray on her lap and starts to feed him, looking intently at him and smiling.
RK asks: You are smiling again, Biwi, what is it all the time you smile, you are not going crazy are you Biwi? Smiling without having a reason is madness.
Madhu tells him: I'm smiling because I'm with you, it makes me happy when you ask me to do things for you 😊...
RK is looking at her intently, and Madhu blushes profusely 😳, then she mentally checks stupid what have you just said the plan was to avoid him and now you've confessed that you like his company, and gets angry at herself. RK is waiting to hear more, he was glad that at least even she likes his company and suddenly the food that he was hating a few moments ago was tasting rather nice now that Biwi was in front of him, giving it to him. He finished it all.
Madhu carried the tray and was about to leave the room, and RK stops her.
RK says: Leave it I will call the servant to take it.
After being away from Madhu all day, he didn't want her to leave him alone, besides it was time for them to sleep now. RK rings the kitchen and a servant comes to take the tray, he goes to brush his teeth and notices Biwi has put for him a new toothpaste that whitens teeth. He read on the box, with teeth whitening it said, that's good I need that.
He comes back and finds Madhu again still with her working with her materials on the bed.
RK says: Biwi it's time for sleep now, you can do that tomorrow.
Madhu says: RK I will work only with the bed lamps you sleep on Your bed and let me do my work on Mine.
RK says: Oh hello, it's not your bed, it's my bed, I'm just letting you share it.
Madhu raises her eyebrow, and says: Is that so, sharing means both of us using it.
RK smirks and sees she has finished her cutting and now she is pinning her dress and smiling happily having won the argument with him she was thinking she is now master of his room.
RK says: Biwi I can't sleep with your bedside lights there.
Madhu thinks and decides okay I will put the pillow barrier up again, and switch off my usual lamp on the left side of the bed and work from the right side of my bed, besides though RK is avoiding her and vacated the bed for her, he always is peeping at her, especially as her light is on he spends most of the time staring at her, he thinks his so clever and that she has not spotted him...😉, so Madhu puts up the pillow barrier again, switching off the lamp on the left side of the bed, where she normally sleeps, and shifts to the right side of the bed. The light was then blocked with the pillow barrier from reaching RK's eyes. But she makes sure to make the space that used to be where she would sleep very small and the larger side, three quarters of the bed, on the right where she is sitting pinning her dress.
Madhu says aloud: It's so nice to have more space.
Finishes pinning her dress and puts it on the sofa close to the right side of the bed and RK is observing all of this. Madhu stretches her arms like a Cheshire cat and lays down to sleep on the right side of the bed. RK is upset, he can't see her face with all those pillows and her back is to him, he normally falls asleep looking at her face in the light, he sits up and peeps at her and sees her eyes are closed but she is smiling, again she smiles and this time she is not doing anything for me, she's not paying me any company, why she is smiling? ...His too angry to sleep on the sofa, and besides she thinks she owns my bed now, she is sleeping on my place on the bed, she will have to share it and lets see whose bed it's going to be.
He comes and shakes her.
RK says: Oh, hello this is my side of the bed.
She opens her eyes and says: Did I hear correctly, you left the bed for me, it's my bed now, your bed is that sofa there.
RK says: Biwi and lifts her and shifts her to the middle of the bed and he moves to his normal right side of the bed. Madhu is about to get up from the bed and move back to her side of the bed (moving the pillows to the middle of the bed) and RK stops her,
RK says: No Biwi you are not leaving me on the bed and you go to the sofa.
Madhu says: RK how I'm I supposed to sleep with these pillows so close here suffocating me and you blocking the light.
RK smiles for the first time tonight and draws her into his arms and into the light of the lamp shining on the right side of the bed, and tells her: Sleep Biwi xx
