RK does not love Madhu

I know he cares for her, like she is his own. His Freudian slips of tongue like the ones around Malik, do show that he considers Madhu a part of his family. May be his only family. But, his words today, mera aur tumhara "dimag ka rishta" described his current state of mind. He believes that they are both in a symbiotic relationship. They both owe each other and, according to him, that is what keeps them together. I am sure you, I and even Madhu would disagree. But, I am afraid he does not love her...yet.

I think it difficult to fall in love after betrayal.he has closed his heart for love.as he said he isn't rishab anymore and he hides behind all wall.Madhu has to break this wall and open his heart by convincing him with her love. I think first you fall in love and then with time the deep feeling comes.there is a difference.

RK is afraid of saying the word "I love you" to Madhu because he's been hurt too many times. He's afraid if he opens his heart to her he'll get hurt once again, so he's putting up a wall to prevent himself from falling for her. I guess that's why he's hesitant about making prolonged physical contact with her because if he does that then he'll lose all control over his emotions and blurt out what's in his heart. He does care about Madhu very much because he shows it by his actions but love hasn't blossomed yet. Hopefully something will happen where RK will finally confess his love for Madhu!

It all depends on what your definition of love is! I don't think he thinks ( like you) he is in love! According to my definition of love, he is dangerously close to it ! 😆

he likes madhu, respects her, and cares or her..he still has a long way to go..he will have to overcome his bitterness to be able to fall in love.
