Episode 128 Discussion: 20th Nov 2012

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.

Episode Discussion - EOD Summary

Events of the episode:

Explanation for why RK let go Shamsher, why he dropped the case.
It is revealed by RK that he did all this so that Madhu is not hurt with betrayal felt by her father's actions. To explain his action, that why he cares for Madhu, in order that Madhu does not misunderstand his intention to be stemming from a love and concern for Madhu, RK tells about his circumstances, betrayals he felt in his life that changed him forever and which he wouldn't want that ever to happen even to his worst of enemies. Though he does let out that he is deeply concerned for his Biwi too who should not suffer when she did not commit any mistake. Its an explanation that provides depth towards his actions and also a window to Madhu as to what kind of man RK is and what sort of Biwi he considers her to be.
In this revelation it is revealed that he feels the betrayals in the form of abandonments ...his Dad's suicide, his mother's remarriage and his lover's jilt. The lover is none other than Dipali.
RK also reveals that Shamsher attempted the third time too and he only had advised Shamsher not to reveal anything to Madhu.

A Heart to Heart talk:

RK's pain simply pierced Madhu's heart, with her eyes showing emotional turbulence to the level that more than RK, I was actually feeling bad for Madhu.😕..I tried a lot to watch his eyes, but I guess VD has small eyes, so I actually could not see his eyes today. Nonetheless, VD was brilliant today but DD stole the show for me.👏

Her heart broke every single moment he slashed his words for his father, mother and Dips, consuming her heart beyond expectations. The moment she tried to put her hand on his back, he moved forward ...awww Madhu was left broken there....( May be I am reading too much into her flowing emotions today). Same goes for when he talked about Dips...ahhh it hit Madhu somewhere as she was perhaps not expecting RK to felt so touched by Dips presence in his life. She perhaps underestimated relevance of Dips in his life. RK so rightly said that he made relation with Madhu using his mind, so there is no emotional investment which can hurt him ever. Logically right but little does he know that he is going way beyond for his BIWI this time.

PS: I seriously fear that Madhu will be left heart broken badly if she confessed her feelings since RK fears emotional investment. He perhaps would not be able to reciprocate love to her genuine emotions

Many people have predicted that RK is faking his feelings or concern for Madhu. But after watching today's episode knowing the facts he presented to Madhu are true, knowing the pain his life has given him is true how can you ever think that RK will ever deceive someone and that too the person who gave her blood to save him. All he has ever received in his life is deceit. The greatest thing he begrudges in his life is deceit. How can he give this deceit to anyone else? Like RK said today he couldn't even give it to his greatest enemy why would he give to the girl who saved him. He found one person in his life that he can sense loyalty every time he looks into her beautiful eyes. Who is not out to get the best of her interest out of him like Dipz or the Bhatias? Who is concerned for his well being not his money or status? He will deceive her I dont think so!

RK seemed to be intent on letting Madhu know about Radha and Dipali, and at the same time he did not want to dwell on any of it.

He gave the briefest summary on each point but didn't talk of years of hurt at watching his mother prioritize and believe Kukku over Rishabh, or Dipali jilting him for Sikki and still getting accepted by his mother as bahu.

I felt that yesterday's ep was not - contrary to advance publicity - about making any new revelations about RK's past.😛

Rather, the point was showcasing the extent to which Madhu's reactions have focussed on him.😳

What RK said was gutwrenchingly portrayed by VD, but it was nothing dramatic or melodramatic. But even seeing him *remember* painful memories was visibly agonizing to Madhu.

He is used to doing things for others without thinking it's anything he deserves to be appreciated for. The Bhatia foursome are exceptional at sucking the life out of anyone and thinking it's their right.🤢

But in the case of Madhu, it's going the other way round.😳 She understands the intent and absolute unimportance he gives to his good deeds, and places his pain above all else.

It was an outstanding episode with every one of RK's understatedly hurt words showing their effect in Madhu's fantastically expressive eyes.😳

What RK was saying we already knew, and it was the more effective for his attempt to avoid expounding on the years of effects of any of the betrayals.

But Madhu's reactions have recently been to his actually being physically or emotionally hurt.😳 This time, just his remembering being in pain was hurting her. She's going further on the path of junooni ishq, and DD portrayed that level of exceptional emotive bond exquisitely.

RK was saying the dialogues of hurt and yet trying not to make himself look like a fool for trusting people repeatedly. But it was Madhu's eyes that were doing an entire accompanying dialogue that was meant for the viewers and not her husband to see.😭😳

DVD are managing to hit all the right pitches in their characterization portrayal, and the effect is outstanding.😳

A superb presentation in terms of acting and overall taking forward of the Rishbala storyline.⭐️

One thing for sure RK will be shattered if Madhu leaves him but what abt Madhu...

How long she will wait for RK to accept her love.??

Is she wiling to wait her whole life for RK to acknowledge his love to her...😕

For than Rk I feel for Madhu here...She is in for so much pain

Okie so here is my two pence...

RK...the shattered soul...reminded me of Voldemort (Ok I have a bad sense of humour,,,,so dont bash me up😆...but soul fragmenting always remind me of him😳)

And the whole scenario actually revived the sweet memories of LTL (To all those LTL Fans out there) felt eerily like that..not only because of the same house set...but the riverside confrontation too...

Okk now bohot LTL Jaap ho gaya...
About today's episode...I actually wonder why RK doesnot slap the Despo woman...may be doesnot want to touch that desperate piece of work...She does have guts standing up to a ruffled man like that...I would have hidden under the nearest cover...

RK and his confession....

The urge to protect her from all odds...Like he said in the beginning of their marriage to that stupid director...that it was between the Sher and his sherni...the world in general was not allowed...they had created their own world...
but he in the beginning realized that they were complimenting each other...his bitterness was balanced by her sweetness, his mistrust balanced by her complete trust, his utter flighty nature being earthed by her grounden entity...

He would never let her face that what he had...and he would maintain her sweetness,, her trust towards this world, her belief in the good in general...always...

And it is ironic..The RK who wanted to segregate her from her family, and reserve her exclusively for himself is now trying to get her united ...such change Madhu has brought iin him...
And he knows ...that she has already been psychologically betrayed betrayed by her own father as well...so he wont let her fall again...not till he is there...she will have all the relations that she feels whole with...

Ah love...what thou creates and destroys...Love destroyed him...and now love is resurrecting him,...making him whole!!!!

Exactly, Madhu is up for heart breaks at every single step towards RK. I believe she will seam through his heart some day but may be, it will be too late... Sigh ...I dont want to think about that as of now.

I don't think RK is scared of Madhu's love, he has made advances towards her. I mean pinned her down to hear her feelings that she was scared when he was coughing.
