Madhu is 'in character'

There's much in Madhu's character that had not been delved into, and I am glad that after meandering in between with her cute wifey-Geet kinda acts, they are back on track with who Madhu really is.

She is more in character now than was before. The girl just discovered that her father, her father, is the one who attempted murder on RK. twice.

If that is not shocking, what is? Any decent person, with any modicum of shame or sensitivity would consider themselves guilty by association however much they deny it on the outside.

So yes, while she is desperate for RK to tell her that she isn't responsible/guilty, she will not be able to shake it off just like that. It wasn't any random acquaintance of hers , its her father's actions that she's wanting to get absolved off.

Moreover, though they are not really be to blamed if they don't trust her now, the Bhatia company look at her with accusing eyes. Then it doesn't matter if she wasn't involved, she is still living in the same house. breaking bread with them.

If before, she had been reserved and distant from the rest of the family, it had been by her choice.Now she is being made to feel like an intruder admist them. Madhu is a strong character. a proud one. How can she not be affected , not feel guilty, distressed when she is among people who despise her, and for a very strong and legitimate reason.

(Not to forget, RK saved her father from paying for his sins! if that doesn't shake her from her roots, I don't know what will? The woman is in the throes of gaining a new perspective in life, although she doesn't know it yet)

So you cannot and should not accept her to go all guns-blazing for Deepali or Sikki's neck. She's vulnerable right now. here defenses are down. Just like when she was indebted to RK, and got married to him.

It numbed her.

And that is what RK understands. That's the reason he asked her to lick her wounds in private. that's the reason hes shoving her in everyone's face and appreciating her.. to get her confidence back.

I am happy with how Madhu is being written. a strong conscience . An honest human being. and a vulnerable one.

@TM.. I 100% agree with your pov about Madhu.. I would just like to narrate a small incident that happened with someone I know.. This girl whom I knew had some problems going on with her Mother-In-Law, her MIL used to room arrest her and treat her very badly.. But her hubby was supportive and loved her.. The sad part is that this girl hid this evil behaviour of her MIL from everyone including her hubby hoping that she would be able to change her MIL with her gud nature, care and love but that obviously did not happen and later she realized that it was a big mistake on her part for hiding such thing from everyone.. So she first told this thing to her mother, who got enraged and slapped the girl's MIL.. which later proved to be an even greater mistake, b'cos the girls' MIL told a false sob story that her daughter-in-law beats her and as if it was not enuff now her mother too has started slapping me. Now when the truth got out the first thing asked to the girl was that why she did not discuss these things with her husband and the girls mother and she are still accused for slapping the MIL.. Even now the girl gets hard time wenever this topic us brought up.. Wen a simple slap can hav such repercussions than murder attempt is much much bigger than that.. Obviously Madhu will feel guilty and she will have to face the consequences for her father's actions.. As we say Karma is a bitch.. it bites us in the place where we least expect it.. Sometimes some mistakes done by parents leaves the marks on their children.. So naturally Madhu is in no position to counter argue or to stand up against the accusations, b'cos she too knows that no human has the right to claim another human's life. That is why Madhu wanted to know that why RK withdrew the case against Maalik.. B'cos acc. to her Maalik shud hav been punished by law for breaking it.. She is a righteous person and the guilt of remaining silent at the crucial time and not helping a person getting justice will prick her conscious for a long time to come.

nice , that u pointed out . MB is very much in her character. thank God no OTT , unnecessary show off , in her attitude. Both RK & Madhu perfectly doing well in the present situation.
