While I'm looking forward to KC and Diwali, part of me is also dreading it. It's going to mean more festivals, kitchen scenes and dragging. I cannot deal with another Modak making, moulee-tying during Ganpati Visarjan sort of festivities.

I really like those kitchen scenes and didn't mind the modak, moulee tying elements. I like all the kitchen drama makes me feel homely 😆, as I don't have that in my own life, so it's a treat to watch. 😊

Maybe there r no kc and dewali scene Nd anyway I am getting board of seeing same thing in every epi... And if they do... I hope do this in different way... ...

Well, that's sort of understandable then.

I would much rather they show RK shooting a movie or something back to the premise of being a tribute to Indian cinema. If we want kitchen scenes or saas-bahu drama, we can pick any of those other 50 shows on Indian TVs.

Athena, I read a question put to the creator of the show about exactly that and his answer was when they were concentrating on the Indian Cinema part in the beginning of the show, the TRP was dropping badly, so they were forced to rethink and have chosen to get Madhu married to RK earlier then planned, they had actually planned to have Madhu become a heroine first then married to RK much later on, but had they done that they were going to shut the show, as the TRP was so poor, so they changed the plan.

So what other shows are showing the saas-bahu drama etc works with the TRP in India.

show started on a different note because thats the way i wanted it to be... but in 1st 8 weeks it fell from 2.8 TVR to 1.4 TVR... It reached a point where there were chances of it getting shut by august end... I was quite sure that RK as a character will work but initially even he wasn't working... thats when we decided to play master stroke of getting rk n madhu married instead of she becoming heroine... there were 2 routes... she becomes heroine and then they get married or they get married and then she becomes actress... i changed track and decided to go with later and show came on track... so she will become heroine but let the right time come... Enjoy current drama of RK - Madhu falling in love.

Nafs,

Nice to see that you liked the kitchen scenes. Madhu bringing Lord Ganapati idol home, making modaks, preparing for Puja etc all those scenes were very nice. Madhu's interaction with Radhaji was sweet.

Now Radhaji is ruled by Dipaliji. So for some time we will not see Radhaji with Madhu. (I want to tell Radhaji that she has lost a sweet daughter-in-law with her foolishness)

But we will see RK and Madhu celebrating Diwali together. That will be awesome.
