OS: Rishbala Heroine Track and Broken Mangalsutra

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Madhu and RK were upstairs in their room the morning after the hungama of Deepali and the rest of the Bhatia's wanted to throw Madhu out of the house, RK put a stop to this and blasted the family and told them that as it was his house and he brought Madhu in it, she would only ever leave if he wanted her it to happen. RK then told Dips that as you are the one that caused this matter to go out of hand, I have just spend the best part of today at the police station and speaking to the press because you told the police to reopen the case when I asked for it to be closed. You are fond of throwing people out of my house right, well I have news for you, from this moment on you are not welcome here, you will be the one to leave, Sikki started to want to argue and RK said house is mine I have the choice who leaves here or not, if you don't like it you follow her also. He grasped Madhu's hand and called for Munna to follow with her luggage upstairs and that was the end of the matter.

RK was starting shooting today and had just removed his arm support and grimaced at the slight twinges of pain shooting from his arm to his chest, Madhu was looking on at him with a worried expression. As he was about to leave Madhu said she would come with him, RK told her she didn't have to be his spot anymore and could stay at home, Madhu insisted, seeing him in pain she wanted to be of assistance to him, help him if he needed her, besides if she was at home she would be worrying about him all day. As they were leaving the house Madhu noticed Radhaji was still being cold to her. She looked at RK with her big doe eyes appealingly, he stared back with a warm caring expression.

They are on the set now, the producers of the film have arrived, Madhu is sitting on a chair next to RK learning him his lines, she had been helping him with this script since he was injured and seemed to know the Lead Actress dialogues so well she hardly needed to glance at the script now to recall her responses to RK's dialogues (she knew them well enough to do so without reading) the producers observed them rehearsing the scenes and nodded at each other recognising madhu's skill to emote the feeling required for the scene...the heroine of this picture had shot one scene with RK a dance number but that was all (well guys that's all we saw of her right, after the marriage), and due to RK cutting short most of the filming on most days she had not bothered to show up for filming today and cited she had started working on her next picture now as the delays on this film had eaten into her schedule for the next film. After a tumultuous meeting with RK this morning they had concluded if they wanted him the current hot property in the film industry to carry on working on their picture they needed to work hard and quickly before he walked out of the film too, they already had to find another heroine for the picture. The producers knew it would be difficult to find all the well known heroines to take the film as they would all have schedule conflicts and they saw Madhu competently reading the lines and decided lets give her a screen test and see how she manages that. The producers approached them and told them of their idea and RK said to Biwi, how about it and she was shy initially as she never wanted to do a film, RK told her as she doesn't have a job on the set now, what will she do, just come and sit on the chair and watch him all day, I'm not complaining people pay money to come see my face in the cinema and went on talking about his looks, she gave in to shut him up.

Screen tests, Madhu shot a dialogue delivery for the penultimate scene, a song and dance sequence and it was enough for the director and producers to make a decision that she would do fine for the role.

The following day she was busy doing fittings, she was ready and about to leave the make-up coach and the wardrobe girl noticed her tag of her dress was showing at her neck, she grabbed a scissors and called out to Madhu when helping her broke her mangalsutra, they managed to save it from falling but it was broken when she had a scissors cutting off the tag on the back of the dress. Madhu was worried, this was a bad omen as something might happen to RK or her marriage, it needed to be fixed, she reached for her purse and kept it there and went outside...RK was waiting for her to start they first shoot, they started shooting then RK glanced at her and noticed that her mangalsutra was missing from her neck, Biwi why have you removed your mangalsutra? Madhu hesitated to tell him, woh woh RK, he grabbed her left arm tightly and came close to her to shake her to answer, are you trying to hide the fact you are a married woman he asked her and she said it broke...Both were shattered by Madhu's revelation, Madhu had gathered big fat tears in her eyes, Madhu said, it will take it to be mended RK. RK was silent...PACK UP!!!

Madhu was shaken she hadn't even shot her first scene yet and it looked like her marriage was on shaky ground also. RK shouted for the keys of his car, and ushered Madhu to it, off they went looking for a jeweller to mend the mangalsutra he gave it to the jeweller and was told it would be mended in a few minutes, in the meantime Rishbala had a conversation, RK said to Madhu...Biwi stop crying and remove the worried expression from your face, they say mangalsutra on wife's neck wards off evil in the marriage and to the husbands well being, let me remind you biwi since our marriage i've been shot, and stabbed, Madhu quickly retaliated but you were not killed our marriage did not break...They collected the mangalsutra put it on Madhu's neck and left to go home.

At RK's Mansion, they were met with the producers which were really angry having been placated too many times by Bittuji, this time they were tired of the wrapping up of shooting early, the picture was costing them everyday fixed and variable costs were spiralling out of control, they threatened RK with liable and dropped him from the picture. Very soon it was the talk of the town (film industry), of RK's un-professionalism, no producers wanted to work with him. The lawyers fees were huge fighting the producers of his last picture, RK took up drinking again.

Madhu was reeling, so much bad had happened in such a short time and she looked down at her managalsutra and knew it's because she had broken it and as it protected them and unleashed all this evil into their lives. Prayer didn't seem to help, in the past when she had resolved to pray to Ganpati bappa he had always answered her, she fasted to no avail, nothing helped the situation, she cried in despair aloud and woke up 😛😛😛 RK was holding her in his arms Biwi wake up you are having a nightmare, she looked at him with her doe eyes, looked around her and asked him are you still working on Haqeeqat? He said haqeeqat why, just answer RK, yes I am why. Nothing and she breathed a big sigh that she had indeed been dreaming, all these horrible things. 😆
