Madhu froze where she stood, but Mukund rose to walk towards her. He grabbed her arms and threw her on the couch. Mukund started to talk in a hoarse voice.

What the hell did you think; I would get scared by the threat of a superstar. That good for nothing actor.You stupid women, I followed you the entire day looking for an opportunity to meet you.! Ha!

Mukund leave my hand and stop behaving with me like this. Leave now!

He slapped Madhu tightly. How dare you ask me to leave? Mukund was red with rage.

Madhu by now was crying. She was hurt. Her lips bled.

Please don't hurt me, she pleaded.

Please! Please don't leave me Madhu, I beg you. Say now, Please say you love me!! Mukund suddenly changed his tone and mocked Madhu.

I hate you, I hate from the core of my heart. I would never want to be with a guy like you. I hate you Mukund

Mukund slapped her again. He held her hair and pulled back her head.

"You bitch!! How dare you say like that to me.!"

Mukund now turned and started banging the doors and the walls. He started to break the vase and glasses. Madhu saw this as an opportunity and ran towards the door, unlocked it and was about to run downstairs when she hit into somebody and fell on the floor. She grabbed the man's legs and said,"Please, please save me. He will kill me!"

Madhu!! Who the hell is going to kill you? What is going on?

Madhu recognized the voice and looked up it was RK!

RK saw slap marks on Madhu's face, her bleeding lips, the tears in her eyes. His blood had already started to boil. Madhu stood and then she saw the expression of RK change from concern to anger.

Who is inside?

M..Mukund!!. Madhu shivered.

RK dialled bittuji's number and asked him to get the police.

Mukund by now had come outside.

RK glared at Mukund. RK grabbed Mukund by collar and the anger in him rose to a level that he lost the count how many times he punched Mukund. Suddenly he was bought to reality when Madhu called his name.

RK Stop, he will die.

He deserves to die. How dare? How dare he touch you? How dare he hurt You?

Madhu was stunned at the statements RK was saying.

Suddenly the police came and caught Mukund and took him away.

RK moved towards Madhu and gave her purse.

I had come back to give this to you.

Madhu took it silently.

Rk saw she was shivering out of fear.

You please come with me. You don't have to stay here tonight. Come to my place. You don't seem to be in a good condition.

RK's Home.

Madhu was sitting on the big sofa in the lounge area. She had washed her face and looked better than before. RK came back with a cup of hot milk with turmeric.It was already 4:00 in the morning. It had taken a long time to settle everything.

Have this you would feel better.

Madhu had the milk and was looking downwards. RK knelt and saw tears in her eyes.

I don't know how to thank you for all this!!

Even with so many slap scars on her face and tears in her eyes she looked beautiful.

RK touched her face with his fingers and wiped of her tears, he then stroked her cheeks and touched her lips.

Madhu closed her eyes.

I'll never let anyone hurt you. Trust me.

Madhu rested her head on RK's chest and hugged him. RK too reciprocated it.

It was a comfortable moment for Madhu. She had never known she would find solace in RK's arms after what happened. She was lost in the moment. She was wrong about RK.

For RK, this moment gave him a comfort he had never found. He wanted to protect her, make her happy. It was a feeling he just could not described. It was as if some part of him which was incomplete just got completed. RK could not stop himself from reciprocating.

The first rays of sunlight appeared outside.RK lifted Madhu face and kissed her on the forehead, her cheeks and slowly his lips moved towards Madhu's lips. They could feel each others breath when the doorbell rang.

Madhu and RK both sprang back. They felt very awkward. Madhu looked around to avoid RK eyes.

The doorbell rang again.

RK said, "I'll go and check. It must be Bittuji. Some update from police station."

RK walked out of the room. He could feel his heart thumping. What the hell was that, Damn!! What is Madhu thinking of me now? How could I get so close to her? His cheeks felt hot.

When RK opened the door, he was embraced within seconds.

He realised the worst nightmare was yet to begin.

Surprise! Surprise Hero!!. I landed straight from London today and wanted to surprise you. I love you so much. Did you miss your fianc?

Dipali!!

Yeah Rk, why do you look so surprised?

RK removed himself from Dipali's clutches and observed Madhu standing right behind, with a look of shock and tears in her eyes. RK was stunned. He wanted to run to her and explain everything.

Dipali looked at Madhu and was shocked too.

Who is she RK?

This time Madhu spoke.

"I am a normal girl, someone who superstar RK saved just like in is movies.Mr Rk asked me stay here till the matters of police got resolved. I was about to leave anyways. Thank you so much for everything Mr Rishab Kundra. You opened my eyes. I will handle the matters of police myself. Thank you again for everything. If you don't mind can you arrange a taxi for me?

Hey! I am sorry. I did not know you went through some trouble. Anyways the taxi in which I came is waiting outside. I think you can go in that… Umm..

Madhu started to walk outside.

Madhu walked past RK but RK held her hand.

RK was shocked and numb. He did not know what to say. What he felt for her was definitely not a mistake. What happened was not a mistake. How could she? Before RK could question her, she was gone.

Madhu sat in the cab told the driver to take her to the airport.

Madhu reached the airport and called her Dad.

Madhu!! What happened? SO early in the morning.

Hearing his voice Madhu started to cry. She was inconsolable.

I am booking you the first flight back to Delhi. You have had enough of Bombay.

Madhu kept the phone down. She started to cry. How could she make such mistake. How could she get involved with RK. First Mukund broke her trust. Now RK. She felt cheated. She felt used. Her crying gradually turned to wailing as the onlookers watched.
