She "facepalmed" her son as she saw his eyes were still glued to the television set. Snatching the remote from his hand she turned the television set off. "Quickly drink your milk," she ordered and started walking away.
Little Krish tiptoed to the sink only to be stopped by Madhu, "And do not spill it down the drain this time," she stated.
"Mamma! How did you find out?" Krish asked clearly confused in his adorable high pitched voice.
She couldn't help but be left in awe at his innocence, "Because I'm not Mamma, I'm SuperMamma, now drink up!" She caught him by surprise and didn't leave till the tall glass was empty.
"Good boy!" she exclaimed.
"I'm not a dog mom!" he grumbled pulling the most adorable pout she had ever seen.
"But maine kab... Khair chodo, we're getting late!" She picked him up and rushed to the car.
This was life as she knew it, for the past 2 years.
"Mamma, can we go to Mumbai one day? I've heard it has so many tall buildings and so many people that you can't even find room to walk!"
Mumbai. The place held so many sour and so many sweet memories. But she couldn't risk going back there, especially with Krish, he didn't need to deal with anything at this tender age.
"Now why would we want to go to a spot where there's no place to walk? And did you know, they don't even have snow there like they do here in Shimla. Now if you're willing to let of the snow then fine, you can go to Mumbai, but I want to stay right here," she feigned a childlike voice.
"No Mamma No! I don't want to go to Mumbai! I don't want to leave you!" he repeated over and over.
She couldn't help but gather him in his arms, Krish was the best thing that happened to him since...
"I'll be there with you every step of the way,"
That night was beautiful. Every moment was surreal. But fantasies all did come to an end,
"It was just an attraction, a spur in the moment,"
The words hurt her beyond a justifiable description.
She pushed the unwanted thoughts away and brought her attention back to the beautiful 6 year old child in her arms.
"I love you my bacha,"

His fingers lingered around the lamp. The one that she'd always keep on. The one that witnessed their union. The room held so many memories.
"Chief," his stout assistant interrupted his thoughts. "Bhansali Sahab insists on a location within India for the song. He's going on about the feel of the song and how it's roots should be Indian. These directors I tell you," Bittu ji chuckled, "He probably doesn't want to foot the cost of an entire crew in Switzerland because how is the audience going to tell if it's Indian snow or European snow... Barf toh barf hota hai..." Bittu ji started rambling.
"Bittu ji," he spoke in a stern voice getting him back on track.
"Oh yes, sorry chief. What I came to tell you is that the song will be shot in Shimla and we are due to arrive there tomorrow morning."
"Alright, thank you. You may leave now," he spoke.
Shimla. The dramatic reuninion destination of every old hindi film. Perhaps that would be the case in this film as well.
