Episode 113 Discussion: 30th Oct 2012

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

End of the summary for the Episode 113 Discussion

Episode Summary:

Visual treat and must watch episode.

Events being

Beautiful scene between RK and Biwi over the staircase. RK tells Madhu that he heard her in the hospital when she was trying wake him from supposed death.
Madhu and Dips - extension of Madhu in Dips saree. Dips taunts Madhu that RK did not tell her the reason why he doesn't like the saree.
Shamsher attacks RK - fails - RK catches him at that.
Shamsher - RK confrontation - RK wants to know what Shamsher wants to kill him. Shamsher explains and RK buys that. Scene interrupted by Madhu

**************Sandy Aftermath update for NY, NJ and CT states

No more storm, no more howling winds.

Its now all about flooding and restoration of services that have been powered off.

Now I feel the authorities have painted the havoc bleaker than it was. Everything is closed and we are stranded. Ofcourse that helps the authorities to slowly restore services without people hindering them. But the the Wall Street Firms are taking a major hit with the flooding and power shut down. We have lot of European clients who are asking of us for an ETA for service restoration and we cannot give an answer to them because we are dependent on city authorities plans,

Couple of my friends in Battery Park are closed in the building with no power and everything flooded around. That was a mandatory evacuation zone and they decided to stay back.

I mean it is really bad in Manhattan areas with lot of resident population over there along with commercial enterprise. Saw Battery Park Tunnel filled with water...Few NJ Parkways are open. NY Lincoln Tunnel is open now. CT is completely closed...roadways wise, travel and lot of power outages. NJ is worsehit power outages wise. Its a federal disaster declared for NJ.

But still ...I feel the authorities should give us a more happening update and stop using words like Devastation, Disaster ...because this is not devastation if we compare it with other US disasters. I would say pre-emptive planning and effective consultation between city administrative authorities, MTA and Electric Utilitity companies and their vendors has helped them minimize equipment loss.

That's SD update for now...

Just updated the Sandy situation in the post above. However if you ask me, I am like... start the transit services and Power, first thing is I would like to go to office and check for various connection statuses to our partners. Failed transaction is like dishonoring a transaction. Unless the settlement and even Clearinh corporations have also closed and suspended operations, the weight of an open and exposed transaction weighs on our mind.

The IT infrastructure guys say even if power comes back up for them to make our desktops and servers accessible, they will have to make thorough checks for everything to be up online for our use. If that was for us, a small company ...listen to this. MTA (Metro Transit Authority) said it takes 8 hours for them to shut down the system to a halt. And starting up the same post flooding conditions is really going to be a mammoth task. Risk is ofcourse electrocution and explosions. So everyone is thinking, soon it will be Friday until everything gets to normal.

There is such a minimal life-loss that I would definitely say commendable job by the city authorities. BEST ever I have see, My only rue being don;t make it a propaganda now ...

Gripping episode ...

Loved the little Rishbala moment...btw, his heartbeat had stopped right...how could he have heard what she said??!! Then I thought to myself, why nitpick, maybe the machine was not working for sometime, so could not record his heart beat😆...

Loved the confrontation...RK was stunned, but as the conversation went on, to me, he began to realise the enormity of what his actions had led to. When Malik spoke of Madhu, he felt ashamed of himself, and he maybe acknowledged that he had pushed malik over the edge. All this was indicated superbly with body language and eyes only, his attitude / his dialogues were still arrogant and bombastic. Vivian, take a bow.

malik was fabulous, he literally justified his position, and when he spoke, one could make out his anger, helplessness, and frustration that he is alive at his daughter's expense... rather at the expense of her life and happiness. And at one point, you almost think he is right in wanting to kill RK.
Of course he's not, but that's another point altogether.

Me thinks:

- RK will never tell Madhu, he knows it will shatter her

Me wondering:

How will the separation happen??

Me hoping:

-Madhu will not do anything stupid. (At one point, when RK picked up the dagger, and stood behind malik, I thought Madhu would walk in and register the complete opposite scenario!! )
