Munni, AA,
Yeah! CT is already affected. My in-laws stay close to Connecticut. They shall be safe, except the supply to Utilities will be a problem...
Siri,
You are in NJ ? ...worse. Stay safe. Few of my colleagues stay there.
Anyways ...to feel the lighter side of things ...
The episode was a Monday Drama ... Back into the Game types. So the whole saree fiasco was for build-up to Shamsher's attack as we rightly thought on Friday. Although whatever we discussed on Friday is also true in the sublime manner as we watch other the subtleties of the fight and dialogues spoken by RK. There were many that I liked. But the best one was the one which speaks of RK accepting that Madhu has forced him to change. When he refers to all the liquor bottles thrown away by Madhu and now he doesn't have any liquor-effect in him to answer her questions in the manner he would have liked to answer her. .He blames that change in him also upon her. Although I did not understand Madhu's dialogue...Baandh ke patak doge ?? What does that mean ? 😕
RK, the man that he is ...or was the man he was at the beginning when he was introduced in the story look so different now. The beginning one used to send us shudders down the spine when he was biting close to read other people's thoughts. Today, that fear is no more there. The shudder effect is not there, yet the man has not lost his sharp intelligence. The way he was able to study Shamsher Malik was really something. I mean this trait to read through layers was attracted me to the show.
The contrast and themselves as a Unit
I also liked that Madhu's magic is actually visible through RK, The way he spoke about his parents took their names proudly the way he remembers them and as he believes it to be true was Rishabh persona. Commendable that Rishabh agreed to sit for the pooja...honoring his mother's feelings (unsaid though). And in contrast Madhu the way she took her parents names without any conflict and in peace...Shamsher Malik and Padmini Chowdhary was also commendable. RK looks over actually when says that. They are so similar with twisted facts against the normal sense of heritage for them. They are a unit with interesting pieces for their fathers and mothers and yet they love their parents very much. They are a unit in themselves. The way each watched and weighed the other's response around meeting people in the pooja and response to their identities before God, was liked by me most. Definitely RK is more comfortable with Madhu than Madhu is with RK, although she likes to care for him a lot.
The response to OTHER relationships
RK revealed clearly that he doesn't hold grudge against anyone except Dips. That of course..the saree drama kept it so fresh in his mind. Truly; Padmini blessing Madhu and RK was the best one. Even RK there was without any sarcasm or judging her. There was plain good-will between the three there. With Shamsher, though RK could feel the undercurrents. And he gets back to his typical drawing the bait dialogues.
Overall, I can't wait for tomorrow's drama and here I am not even sure if I can watch it tomorrow.
ETA:
I understood just now, why Madhu was reluctant to sit for the pooja along with RK.
If you see all, she is looking at Shamsher standing behind her. At that, even RK follows her eyes and looks at Shamsher. That's when he "don't get shy sitting with me".
Actually it is Madhu's guilt towards Shamsher that she is honoring the marriage that her father disapproves. So she at that moment is confused at being a faithful wife or faithful daughter. And RK understand both father-daughter understanding and Shamsher's disapproval for him as only three know what happened in the hospital when RK had got Shamsher forcefully sign the contract deal.
As part of show screenplay, the creatives should have included a flashback scene of that hospital scene.
