Since I am one of those vehement ranters from yesterday, and inspite of my understanding of the characters, I would like to explain myself. I am sorry to be causing many others a displeasure that I am sort of influencing anti-advocacy of Madhu, but these are my perceptions.
I have never liked Madhu's character. I have always liked RK's character. My simple reason being I am not greatly tolerant to dim-wit. I am just not. Madhu is dull and not focussed enough even though she might be a gem of a person. She doesn't know what she wants. She makes it her case, her concerns over other's problems. That's like barging in,,,,and too much to accept.
Dealing with dim-wits in real life is painful enough and sometimes you can rant and sometimes you cannot. But on-screen you see something like that, then I believe, we can so without feeling responsible.
On just watching the episode, I winced at Madhu's accepting to wear Dips saree. Obviously I as a viewer will have my own kind of response to the character. Why would I step in the character's shoes and say she is doing the right thing just because she is supposed to be like that. I as a viewer have every right to judge her action. Simply put ...the finer sense of being a woman, a refined sense of coming close to a man is totally lost when that woman does an obtuse act of displeasing her man. That act is totally against the principle of romance, principle of shringaar in drama (meaning the feeling that induces delight in a drama).
As for RK and Rishabh equation ...
For me, now RK and Rishabh are not separate. He is becoming one now that he made peace with his father's death. So yesterday's reaction, I will not separate it between Rishabh and RK. Rishabh is the man he is and RK is his expression. So the RK that spits out dragon fire is actually Rishabh...its not that RK is tough and Rishabh is soft, they are one and the same person.
Now we can expect to see more of the softer RK rather than raving mad RK like we saw on Wednesday or Thursday episodes...just like we saw him in hospital with Dips (the smart one catching the makkari of Dips) and with Madhu (the kiddish one trying to act tough) and like we will see again next week (the smart RK) when catching his killer.

Growth of character is paramount to any drama. If there is no growth, it will lead to this kind of reaction. Every drama needs to have those cathartic elements. And once that climax and anti-climax is past, the dramatist cannot go back to same climax and anti-climax for the next track. That's the reason why even in investigative series, other than it being every week a new case to solve, the dramatist shows development between the protagonists relationships and weaves development into characters. Take any drama ...like sherlock holmes and watson, or Mulder and Sculley in X-Files. The characters cannot just go back to what they were at ouset. They have to keep growing and aging. That's drama.
A weak execution spews this much of vomit. But then not our fault. They needn't have induced a Wednesday and Thursday romance and lighter moments (Shringaar Bhaava) if they wanted the Friday to be like that. Not my fault if I ranted.
