P.S.: when RK had accidently run down mukund (a friend) with his car madhu had lodged a complaint against him which had started all this drama in the first place. wonder what she will do when she knows malik shot RK (her husband whom she hated to the core in the beginning but is starting to care for slowly). will she willingly lodge a complaint against her own father...this time not a drunk dirving case but a case of attempt to murder? will RK force her into it or will he bail her out of this situation by forgiving malik. malik as the killer makes the whole thing more interesting.

@ Blue - the decision of MB choosing Mallick over him will make him more determined and he will make some new plan to get her back and this might pave for RK to force her into stardom. Again might start a hate track.

I for one don't beleive the murderer is Malik, not only because I see him as a principled man but because this is not his style. I for a minute will not say this man is not capable of violence... he more than he capable... he does that for a living! He can shoot RK believing he is responsible for making his daughter miserable... but he will shoot him at point blank. He will let RK know that he is being punished for what he did to his daughter.

And very frankly, I dont see him resort to such an extreme step without trying to get his daughter out of that house... 40 lacs or not. A man who can contemplate killing is not going to be bothered about honouring a contract. A man who has murder on his mind is not going to be taking part in the festivities and distributing prasad only to suddenly decide he needs to kill this guy who came in front of him. And if you see his reaction to RK's nautanki on the day of the visarjan... it was natural hatred and not blinding rage... he still stood there with his family as RK marched away and later watched his panic struck daughter run after hearing RK was in some difficulty. Just for the sake of argument, if he contemplated shooting down RK... he is somebody who would have noted that the man who proclaimed to hate Bappa was dancing away in a trance and he wouldn't have missed the happiness on his daughter's face. As a father, he would not take away the life of that man who matters to his daughter so much.

His reaction today was normal...he would wish RK's death...that doesnt mean he did infact try to murder RK. He has noted the changes in his daughter and Padmini today confirmed that Madhu indeed cares for RK to go to any extend to see him safe. It is not easy for him to accept this and he will not. Not untill he is convinced that RK will treasure and cherish Madhu's love. And he summedup the conflict within him when he said he didnt know if he had to be proud of his daughter or cry for she is charmed by a man like RK.

He is going to be a suspect for sure...and if someone accuses him of it and he believes that this suspicion will get his daughter out of that hell... he just might accept it. That is the extent he can go upto...

And I have to clarify this post has nothing got to do with expectations from a character. I dont think we have a problem accepting flawed characters... RK is the hero of this show and he is accepted and even loved. This has got to do more with the kind of person someone is... and in this case Shamsher Malik is not the shooter because he just doesn't fit in' he might have reasons to harm RK' but he doesn't have the intension to.

totally agree with you... nice post.. everyone is saying it about shammu, but I didn't believe it... shammu is a good character , he will be angry but he can't kill RK..
